Why don't yous just whitewash the new plastered wall...get Christmas over, then get it all tidied up in Jan and then get the decorators in to do the lot...your making your lives so stressful for nothing....I lived with a man for years who ALWAYS decided to start huge DIY jobs just before Xmas, birthdays, weddings...he drove me fecking nuts..your making it so much harder on yourselves trying to get it all done this side of Xmas.. I'm sure the painting of the ceiling and walls can wait till January.. ffs 🤦‍♀️ make your lives easier not harder...

You guys are giving me anxiety!! Just get a decorator in pronto and do all the other stuff on your list of to do’s. If you cant find someone do it all b4 xmas just get some white paint and do the new wall yourselves for now, and get a decorator in after xmas.

I don't think Dina and Nadia realize how much masking will be needed when using a paint sprayer. Roller will be easier and faster. You can then go around the lights with a small paint brush for cutting in.

I have no experience on painting apart that i just refurbished my whole home which meant repainting all walls and ceilings. The painters and decorators sprayed first all walls and ceilings and fine layer to cover the new plaster and then painted 2 3 coats and sanded down to get a very good finish. The spray is very thin if done properly an maybe would need to be done multiple times and sprayed efficiently and also maybe samded down too to ge that perfect finish.

Lovelies...whilst this is great Vlogmas content - my blood pressure goes up when I watch you in the car. I know it's easy for me to say, but there's always traffic in Saaff London, or London full stop, and stressful for whoever's driving, so maybe take a small white board/ipad in the car with you and plan out 2025's vlogs or something and give Mark a break. You could soon paint the new wall then get in a decorator in the new year, we have had a professional decorator in for our hall, stairs, landing and bedrooms this year, it was a lot less hassle, RHS Wisley was lovely x

My dad was a master painter and decorator and I can honestly say, get someone in to do the ceiling. it really is false economy. I would wait until the New year. Paint the new wall if it really is jarring, but once the decorations are up, no one is going to think about it. Then come the new year, the decs are down everywhere looks drab. Then its time to spruce things up by decorating then it all looks lovely and fresh

Personally, I’d have put the wall but with French, bifold or sliding doors so you can open up the space if required, so much better than completely closing the rooms off from each other. We have an open kitchen and dining room but we have French doors to the living room which just opens up the space when we need it ❤❤ Totally agree with Dina, get off your effing phone when your out with the kids, talk to them not everyone else ffs 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️❤❤

Stick to painting with brush and roller as it will take more time to mask everything cover tbe floor and cupboards and furniture unless you buy professional sprayer you will have problems
