I like this lady so much more than the celebrity cooks we have here in the U.S. She's all about the food....not about selling a "lifestyle".

I learn something every time I watch her! I talk about Mary Berry like men talk about Tom Brady. She is my Crone Crush. I have decided that is a thing.

I highly doubt anybody in England talks much about Tom Brady lol.

My grandma always sprinkled crushed tapioca in the bottom of a pie if the filling was a bit wetter so as not to have a soggy crust !

@@TeresaBarrett-m1j One other tip she imparted to me was that after chopping onions , soap up your hands then handle the stainless steel faucet spout a couple of times and the smell that usually lingers will be gone ! These older folks have forgotten more than we will ever know , so we need to share their wisdom whenever we can ! keep well Cherryl from Canada

@cherrylwegner6292 wow another good one!. I agree....the older generations were amazing...no food waste, no plastic, and great cooks!. 👍 best wishes from 🇮🇪

@@TeresaBarrett-m1j She raised vegetables , chickens and pigs , and I recall one supper I asked what we were having and she listed just about every vegetable that she grew then placed a piece of pork roast on my plate . I was confused until she reminded me of all the scrap peelings etc that we fed the pigs and then I knew what she meant , it was the circle , soil to garden , to table , to pigs and then back to us ! She was very wise ! Cherryl from Canada
