Yes, your stockings ARE perfect!! Maybe do the fabric stockings next summer. Not sure why, but that seems like the time for sewing. Now is knit-time. 😂😂😂

I'm so excited about your new stockings. The oversized prints will be great and I hope you will do a variety. There are no Christmas stocking police so you can make as many as you want. When you have such a fabulous idea, you should definitely run with it! Also on the fig, go ahead and start another from the cutting. Once it's established, even if you don't find a space for it (you will) someone would be thrilled to adopt it. Your videos are so not boring. They are mood enhancing in a very creative way.

I'm saving a project that I'm very excited for to start in the new year....maybe you could do that with your stockings and then you'd have exciting new stockings for next Christmas. I have a feeling we're going to need projects that spark some joy to counteract some realities in the new year...

We were in Sweden this summer and visited the IKEA museum (and stayed at the hotel). The banana pattern was one of the features. We loved it! Go for a banana stocking because why not???

Omg Jen - I also want to do/male alll the things right now. And yet I am somehow gift knitting a grey fingering hat in RIBBING. What was I thinking. But soon it will be done (I am setting daily row counts to ensure) and I can get onto more fun things: a bright citron non-ribbed Oslo hat and a Felix (not copying I swear, the ladies at our local Threads Guild recommended) cardigan in deep petroleum (which seems to be European for dark teal).
