So nice to see Padstow i used to visit in the 70’s & early 80’s as my god parents used to own the Trevone Bay Hotel, which is sadly no longer a hotel but got converted into luxury apartments. The blue dress looked amazing.

Beautiful bling dress - you looked absolutely stunning!! All that boot camp and gym work obviously pays off. I adore Padstow especially in winter and really miss my holidays there. BUT if I am ever to see my beautiful grandchildren pennies have to be saved (they emigrated) as I miss them more!! Loving your vlogmas already. 😊 Lynne

Hi angela, thank you got the great content! Your blue dress is beautiful. Quick question - with the lining, did you attach it to the dress, or did you keep it separate? If that makes sense? I’m making a sparkly dress, and am adding a lining, that isn’t included in the pattern normally, I’m just wondering whether to baste the lining to the fabric before sewing the front to the back. Or whether it’s best to sew them separate? If that makes sense. Thanks again!

Aaahh thank you so much. Ok I am going to try and explain - I really hope it makes sense, if not send me a message via IG and I'll try and show you! So I attached the front and back of the dress via the shoulder seams, then I repeated this with the lining. Then I joined the lining to the main fabric with right sides together and sewed around the neckline. Turned it back out the right way. I then continued sewing the dress as if the main fabric and lining were just one piece. Does that make sense?!?! I hope so. Good luck xx
