Thank you Libby! I think the green will look really cool! Sometimes it's hard to imagine it sewn up into a bag (or anything else!) when I have about a great big 4 or 5 metre length of it. But once it's in a bag shape and put together with zip, strap, lining etc I think it will look good!

Your latest Bestie Bag looks fantastic! Those little wine pouches look like a great idea. I don't mind a nice glass of something while I'm cooking/eating dinner, but I'm not a huge drinker, and my husband doesn't drink at all, so I'm rarely willing to commit to opening a whole bottle. I do kinda feel like they should come with a little straw stuck to the side like a juice box though. 😅Enjoy your holidays! Hooray!💙

The lightweight linen looks like it had some teal (the lions heads?), would the teal you recently purchased stretch to 2 bags? When you showed the table clips and I saw the wine pouch my immediate thought was, "is that a mini goon bag?" 😂 I do love your finished bag. Enjoy your school holidays. Our kids don't finish until the 12th here in WA which is about a week earlier than previous years. Congrats on the prize fir A Gift to November.

Mini goon bag was EXACTLY my thought and the caption I sent to my sister with a pic! 😂 I am lucky this year - gov schools don't finish until 20 December so I am very spoilt with my extra week of holidays. I am going to make the most of each day! That's a good point with the teal - it might stretch - I will have a play around with that!

Can you do two different sides for the outside of the bestie bag. So there are 2 different looks.

That's an interesting idea Pam - I think there are so many ways you can individualise this bag pattern. Luckily for me I actually had enough of the drill to get the medium size cut out for another one with no problem!
