I love the Shutterfly album. It’s very elegant and classy. I don’t think the gray bars will be a distraction since your photos are stunning and the people in the photos are the main focus. The photo album will be a beautiful memento of your wedding to always cherish. 💕

I really like the aesthetics and the layout of the Shutterfly album,especially if you’re giving them as gifts to the parents. Modern and very lightweight for when the parents want to lug it around to show friends and extended family. 😊 Perhaps you and Daniel can put aside for a,classic style album for yourselves as a Paper Anniversary gift to each other. Take time to edit photos by categories, i.e. getting ready,vows,family,reception. And of course with trickles of couple and single photos of you and Daniel. There’s a custom wedding Album company,”Classic Albums located in Brooklyn N.Y.makes the classic style albums. You have the option of ordering the album and assembling yourself. ❤

I went the shutterfly route for my album, but I did the design myself so it looked just how I wanted it. It was fun and they make it super easy with so many options for layouts depending on how many photos you want on a particular page or spread! I work full time and was still able to get it done in a few days. Makes a great coffee table book that my guests love to flip through when they come over.

I agree with Dan! I love the classic album.. and then, your parents can frame any of the photos if they want to.. or use the photos however they want to, if they wish to have your wedding photos anywhere else in their home too 💛

The White Lotus - both seasons are so good, with some differences. The scenery is beautiful, sound track is fascinating, as is the story line. Highly recommend!!

I'd do the embossed book and print all the pics you want. Old school albums are so awesome. They can add things in it like a scrapbook.

Gabriella, I didn't like cauliflower either until I made my version of cauliflower with gandules (pigeon peas). I'm puertorican so I substituted the regular rice for cauliflower and it was so good! I've also made the version of chicken you made, but with fish and it's really good also. And finally, Yes! Earch the White Lotus, it's sooooooo good!!!!

I got something like the Shutterfly one it was pricey but I love it and everyone thought it was so cool cuz you can customize it and make it unique looking compared to a regular album one and it also makes a great coffee table book too

Something to consider with the photo albums is that to print 5x7s is quite a bit more expensive than 4xwhatever standard photo size. If you’re ordering 200 pic prints those 5x7s will add up!

Trust me you will want the Shutterfly version. These moments are timeless and you want them to last so I would go with the book option rather than the photo sleeves. If this wasn’t your wedding I would go for the cheaper option. Another option is CHATBOOKS it’s an app. I did this for my husband and I just loved the quality and the projects stay saved. Plus you can keep the same design and order books that match the same aesthetic for more years to come.

White Lotus is great, but I would start with season 1 if you decide to watch it. It has humorous moments, but it can also be a little dark.

On shutterfly you can custom make all pages from scratch. It takes a minute but u would not have the gray bars. You can write anything anywhere etc. you just choose the make your own. It is pretty straightforward

I like the shutterfly one.. it's more modern and pictures aren't gonna be falling out in ten years... you have a variation of the sizes of the photos... and i think more people will want to look at it vs the old style one.

If money was an object get the cheaper. Trust me no one will look at them in a few yrs except you perhaps (so get yourself the one you love). Personally I like the shutterfly style and I’d give them a jump drive of all the photos in addition. That way they can print their favorites in any size to frame. Your photos were beautiful by the way!!❤

Walgreen’s has wedding templates for books plus a coupon. It includes 20 pages & $1.99 for each additional 2 pgs. It can be a total of 30 pages. They have leather cover options. The leather bound can have up to 150 pages with $1.99 each addtl page

I think you can go in and edit the book. I think the gray bars are the background color. I think you can change that too. If you call them they can help you get to the editor to make changes.

I used Shutterfly and designed the album myself. It turned out great. So, I say go with Shutterfly. They print on acid free paper so your pictures will be preserved.

Print the pics off and look on Amazon,cvs, Walgreens for a photo album. You’re so creative I think you could do it yourself and maybe cut cost. Also like I wrote in a previous comment “free prints” is a app- i won’t workcfor them 😂 but they’re really great for pics

Watch the white lotus! You don’t even need to watch the 1st season because it’s a whole different cast. The second season was really good and only like 7 episodes!

I mean if his parents would be more inclined to like an actual photo album, just go get a really nice photo album from TJ Maxx or HomeGoods or something like that and print out the pictures. I’m sure you could find A place that could emboss the front cover for you. I’m sure you could find a better deal as well with a photo album in general other than the one that cost like $80

The random gray bars would bother me too. Why can’t it just be white like it is on other pages??? If you do go the route of printing yourself make sure you have a good coupon code for prints. But 200 5x7 pictures printed is pretty pricey. I would probably go the Shutterfly route.

I did our pictures in a traditional photo album. My brother for his wedding did maybe Shutterfly it or some other company and it’s very small and just book like. Like paperback book, maybe I’m old-school and I like to actually have the photos in an album. I still print my photosOut if I want them for a frame or something. If you’re not happy girl do not get that shit. Did you go on Etsy? And see if there is anything on there

I wish I could give advice I have been married for 11 years and I still have not put my album together because I am having the hardest time finding one that I love. I feel that Shutterfly still has similar stuff I was looking at in 2011. I know the struggle. Pick what makes your heart happy. All my photos are on CD I am hoping I find the one that I love. These are pictures you will enjoy for a lifetime. As long as your happy with the way they come out is all that matters.

I would go with Shutterfly presentation is elegant whereas traditional is to ordinary and simple also would not be so cost effective in the end. You would need to print 400 pictures if you want each album to have 200 I think the savings would be minimal compared to Shutterfly you also won’t be doing the running to have pictures printed or the labor of filling albums. My humble opinion 😌

Don't be OCD on perfection. Think about poor countries or poor families that barely could afford their own wedding day in a court house. Your day was cherished by others and they saw that. So making sure all the images are shown isn't what really matters.
