Tip of the day! Spray your measuring cups with non-stick spray before measuring things like molasses and honey and it just slides right out!

My daughter is a single mom of 3 children , 2, 6 and 7 years old. She worked from home and watched them for the 1st year of the pandemic and said it was almost impossible to get anything done. Finally they opened the daycares, so that helped. She is a purchaser for the Navy. She was in the Marine Corps for years and now works for the navy. (Marine Corps is a part of the Navy.) She lives far away from my husband and me, so we cannot help, and the fathers don't do much of anything.

make cinnamon toast with the sugar mix! Just butter bread and sprinkle a healthy layer on top and broil until it melts into each other (keep an eye on them, it happens fast!)

Jessica, You should try the Old Navy built in sculpt leggings. I wore them all through out my pregnancy and still wear them PP. The waist band is “thin” and super stretchy, but then compression all throughout the leggings. They are amazing for maternity.

I’m not a ginger or molasses cookie person at all, but you guys are making me want to try this recipe! I’m fascinated but the dried mustard in it! Also completely unsolicited tip-anytime I’m using something sticky molasses/honey etc I’ll either spray it with Pam before I put it in the measuring cup or put whatever fat is in the recipe in the cup first, so it pours out cleanly and easily.

We make TONS of gingersnaps each season and always have a little leftover sugar. I pop it into a container and use it for the next batch of cookies OR my husband's favourite is use it in his coffee. The slight spices flavor that's left in the sugar makes it extra yummy.

Dont want to be critical but have you thought about getting Pinocchio a seat belt. I really worry in case you ever have an accident or sudden breaking he will fly out via front window. I travel with my pets a lot and know it may happen and really dont wish that for you. Better be safe than sorry🙏

Same thought here. I got a harness + car leash for my smaller dog when he ended up under the dash one time when I had to stop short suddenly. He was fine but I felt terrible. Also, as bad as it would be for Pinocchio to get hurt it would be additionally bad if he was flung into one of them inside the car.

I love that you sincerely love your dog. I’ve had to stop watching a couple channels because it feels like their dog is a prop. Yes, I realize I’m only seeing 30 seconds of their life, and they may spend all their off camera time snuggling their dog, but perception is reality and I can’t stomach it when a dog doesn’t get all the loves, so my very long comment is to say thank you for loving your dog on camera as much as I’m sure you do off camera.

Little tip on getting the molasses out of the measuring cup….. coat the cup with a little cooking spray/oil before you put in the molasses and it’ll all slide out clean. works for honey and syrups too.

I never bought maternity jackets and when I was pregnant with my second, we went trick or treating for Halloween (which is ridiculously cold in Colorado every year for some reason!) and my belly was uncovered the whole time. When we got home, I didn’t feel him moving and was convinced I froze him! I was so traumatized, but still didn’t buy a jacket that covered my belly 🤦🏻‍♀️. So for Zoo lights during Christmas time, I wrapped two warm blankets around me (under my jacket) and held a third to my belly 😂. Luckily we have lots of help so that was my only job that night. Love the vlogs, always excited when I see the new one pop up!

When I was pregnant I was in pain by the end of the day as well. My doctor recommended soaking in my tub for 20 minutes with epson salt before bedtime. It worked! I know you can’t do that every night being so busy but hopefully that helps.
