Beautiful Estelle dress. And I love how our me made garments remind us of where we were when we bought the fabric or who we were with. That makes them very special. I'm pleased to know you'll be wrapped in fabric hugs on a difficult day.

Yes, I have a good friend, more like my sister who does the most amazing quilts. I’m proud to say I’m quilt worthy ❤. People who don’t do hand crafts or art have no idea the time (and 💰 money) that goes into them, so therefore they don’t see the value.

The fabric print in your dress reminds me of stain glass windows you would see in a church. Seems appropriate for the service you are attending in honor of your mother. My sympathy to you and your family during this difficult time.

My least favourite is chiffons even when you starch the devil out of it! It has a life of it's own and I've sewn for more years than I haven't. As for making gifts that the response is less than excited I put their comments in the bank and when the next year comes around they get cheap chocolates! I have had many of these responses but more positive than negative ones! Hold those ones close to your heart! I was thinking of you over these last few days, I think you've stayed on my mind because today was my step mom in law's birthday. She passed a couple years ago but it's like yesterday for Dad. Your Estelle Dress is stunning! I love the print!!

So right about thin viscose, I now rarely buy anything under 110gsm and one of the reasons I love pound fabrics because the weight is listed. Fab idea changing the buttons on the coat. Your Estelle dress is lovely. Thank you for your vlog Cara, big hugs for today x
