Renee - for the fruit flies/gnats (not fleas): in a ramekin or small bowl add 1/2 cup to a cup of apple cider vinegar with a few drops of Dawn dish liquid, cover tightly with cling wrap and use an ice pick or tip of knife to punch 5-7 small holes in the wrap. It it out in the kitchen or dining room. The flies are drawn to it/will enter the holes/unable to fly out. Works really well. Pour out after a day or two, and make up a new one as needed.
