Absolutely agree! When it’s matching it’s so builder grade looking. Which is what you don’t want. Thats what I dislike about so many builder grade homes is because it’s the same cabinetry and hardware throughout the house. You want it different so it looks more custom designed.

What I love about your channel is that you love decorating an apartment. After retiring I downsized from a three bedroom home to a condo, and it took me a minute to want to decorate cause it was rental. But, you have shown, no matter where you live make it a home.

Love Talc and textured linen. They both compliment each other and your dresser and are neutral toned. The other one is mire warm tones which is beautiful but the others you can use to contrast any color scheme.

I think if you want your bed frame not to be the vocal point, go with the lighter color. It will work with any Toji use for your bedding or any furniture you place in your room. And it will almost disappear and let other things shine.

The linen linen is gorgeous, especially against the white wall, but Grandpa’s coat is beautiful, too. They’re just very different looks, and you know the look you want, so go with what your heart tells you! I love the French drying rack! The patina is really amazing, and that little brass/metal plate is 👩‍🍳💋!!! I can’t wait to see what happens in the next video. 🎄🌟❤️

What about the carpet in your room wouldn’t you need a color that would contrast with it or will you put an area rug on top of it? If so I would go with the one you absolutely love, I think white sheets would look great with it also! and the lamps you just got would be a awesome vibe!!

I had to pop back on if you are going to use a jute rug in your bedroom then I would go with the linen linen color for the bed and not grandpas jacket that definitely would not look good with jute..in my opinion! Looking forward to the finished room!

Regarding the “rug” if you measure your room and know the dimensions of the “squares” you can figure out what you need to buy. I had this same “rug” in my apartment in the 80’s. It’s been around for a while.

I love them all. I recognize those swatches (from Lulu & Georgia) I ordered a sofa in the Linen Talc, but the performance fabric version and it was a little darker than the linen version. It is like a combination of the Talc and the darker swatch. You can't go wrong with any of them, But that darker on is stunning. Maybe order the Talc in the performance just to get a look.
