I started watching your vlogmas several years ago & so look forward to it each year! Living now outside Savannah, GA where I grew up. Alas I married a guy from Buffalo, NY and we lived there until we both retired back to Savannah. I have such great memories of those years & our trips up to Toronto while living there-especially for kids’ hockey tournaments! You do such a wonderful job with your vlogmas content! I love hearing about all your family traditions and foods you have at Christmas! Seeing all of your creative projects is so inspiring! Since we’ve finally gotten some cooler weather -low 40’s & we watched all our friends get the lake effect snow in Buffalo the past week, I’m getting inspired to knit. 😃 I may finally finish a pair of socks I’ve had on the needles & close to being finished for about a year now! Happy Vlogmas Day 2❣️ After she retired my mom took up baking and making treats to be shared with friends and family during the holiday season. A particular favorite was called poor man’s turtles. She used the square pretzels with standard size Rolo candies warmed in the oven on a low temperature. Then she would press a pecan half into the warmed Rolo candies and allow to cool. They really did taste like a turtle candy. Thanks for bringing back this holiday memory of her.🎄

Your Felix looks just lovely and so cozy! I live in the western suburbs of Chicago, and it is extra chilly here, too. Puts me in the mood for Christmas, knitting, baking, and getting cozy. Glen is a lucky man with his personalized Advent calendar! I decided to take a pass on Advents this year. It became a little overwhelming, and our cute and cozy century English cottage just doesn't have space for more STUFF! Trying to be more restrained at the holidays this year and spend more time doing family activities, baking, playing games, crafting, getting outside, and just spending time together. The kids are also getting fewer presents this year, and a higher percentage of them are useful but nice things like new UGGS, wool socks, special books, etc.
