Glad you made it to Hawaii safely and can spend Christmas with your mom! I feel your frustration w/the flight delay, once Air Canada delayed my flight 6.5 hours to Florida and I ended up landing at 3:30 am, it was so strange. I was also visiting my mom that time! Very frustrating. Enjoy the rest of your holiday and thanks for another great vlogmas this year!

I’m Spanish but live in England and I’ve been travelling for years. I have to agree with you that travelling is getting worse and I worry every time I buy plain tickets because I never know if the flight is going to happen. Like others say, I love your mum, her laughter is infections and it’s lovely to see how well you both get on. Heave a joyous Christmas with your mum x

You made it! Thankfully you didn't go to the airport. I once received a call saying my flight was delayed for 7 hours as we were pulling up to the departures, and I was living quite far from YEG. Apparently the plane had hit the gate at it's previous destination and needed to be replaced.

Elle my flight was delayed 4 hours in New Jersey and they got us a new plane. After that when we reached Munich we were delayed 9 hours and 40 minutes on a 9 day trip to see my family in Greece. I was so upset!!!! It was horrible! We arrived and decided to stay at a hotel. Just crazy united airlines experience. 😪

I flew from Missouri to Abu Dhabi to spend time with my family and my flights were all so delayed and awful. Feeling your plane and holiday travel woes. So sad. Wish it were better. Six hours+ delayed?!? Unacceptable!!!

Hi Ginette.... your mom is looking lovely, as usual, Elle!!!! Always felt, the "maintenance" excuse was due to the scheduled pilot being "delayed", in the wrong city. Which is contributed to greedy airline executives. It is one thing to delay an international flight, because of bad weather over the oceans.
