The transaction will show on your bank statement. You can show the shop owner where the transaction went through and date processed without showing him all your other information. Since he’s a small shop owner it’s easier to look up in their system, whether he wants to is the question? Either way if his system goes down or not in the middle of the transaction it will still show your card processed in their system and records afterwards (day and time included). I’ve worked in management with big companies and small businesses for over 15 years and all card transactions are shown in their transaction reports. Hope everything works out for you!

I don't know how your banking system works or what kind of claim you filed. But if it's similar to the one we have, you can file a claim for "card declined but amount deducted". That way the bank will have to check with the guy's bank/account if he received the payment or not. If the guy did receive the amount, your bank will tell you so and you can take the issue up with him. If not, your bank should refund the amount.

Try calling your bank and instead do a chargeback with that transaction and just say you never received the item. Since you don't have a history of doing a bunch of chargebacks they will most likely do it for you right away! Hope this helps :)

Take out the bank statement and get your money frm the shop Coz when u give the statement and he takes to his bank thn he will get the money as it is already deducted frm your account that means it's paid

With the double payment of the bike, do y’all have ombudsman in America they are like a small claims company where you can take an issue with companies there if you are getting a raw deal.. end of the day, you should be able to show you their transactions that you processed

Try asking the bike guy if there is a customer service or 1-800 number on the machine he uses for transactions. He needs to give them a call and explain what happened with his machine, at his store. That is unacceptable!
