As someone who has never been to Australia I love seeing the shopping footage and spotting familiar brands and unfamiliar ones. Also I’ve never heard of creaming soda but I’m assuming it is the same as cream soda but the different wording interested me! Great footage

I think cream soda is vanilla/yellow ? Creaming soda is pink, and more of a hrmm, raspberry type flavour

I grabbed two of those Bickford cordials while they were on special. Must look out for those Famous icy poles next shop. Glad you got the computer reset. We have one at home that needs resetting, same reason you had, but I think I’ll wait until after Christmas now for that trip. You’ve reminded me I have a battery for mine on order that I haven’t got. Totally forgot about it. Had a Coles ad whilst you were shopping in Coles. Son has just announced he’s kept down a dry biscuit and I’m over the moon as it is the first thing in 2weeks. What a journey! Fingers crossed it remains down. Your showing the real juggling act shopping can be with appointments and weather thrown in the mix. Hope the rest goes well. My closest shopping is about 30 minutes away, so I do a lot when I go. Compared to you, though it is nothing! I always forget something, no matter how well I plan. I do without though until the next week that I go into town. Sometimes that feels long, but once again, not compared to you! Good vlog, thank you.

Heh, I just did my big Christmas shop today - took me less than an hour, doing three different stores…really brings home what you have to deal with on the regular! I thought you did a fabulous job with filming, particularly given how uncomfortable you’ve been with the idea in the past, and it was interesting for us to see the thought processes that go into your shopping, even given your pre-planning before setting off. Wishing you and the entire family the best of the season, and do enjoy those prawns, and the seafood cocktail especially - it’s only once a year, after all!

Although I don't have incredibly long hair, I like using bandanas to hold my hair back (made into a headband). I can't stand to have hair in my face. The bandanas help with sweat, too. I get headaches if I use ponytail holders or clips, and they all seem to pull my hair out, but the bandanas don't.

I'm really loving these vlogmas vids Nyssa!! My kids love the Quelch icy poles. I think they're a great alternative to Zooper Doopers which I personally think are gross.

I'm not a huge fan of zooper doopers either, but the kids do love them as a treat, even if I make them smoothie pops every week lol. So hopefully they like the novelty of the juice ones just as much :D
