Well that was certainly an eventful weekend with good and bad. The Travelodge fire alarm going off and the utter disorganised chaos that ensued must have been very worrying at the time. They really need to be organised. Hope you've now recovered. Still loving the advents particularly the Liberty one. Thanks Alison.

So very sorry about that terrible night, Allison! Travelogue corporate to hear from you. That is an extraordinary fiasco and could have been so very tragic. I think I might well have bundled my things up and started home by 3 a.m. Yes, also having been in a nursing supervisory in the background, this would have been so frustrating.

Oh Alison how awful. The fireworks were great though. It’s not that much fun when that happens I was staying in Nottingham when someone started the fire alarm. It was very organised at the ibis but standing outside in pyjamas is not a good look. Glad everything turned out okay. Xx

Me too. It happened to me in London but it was everyone out and back in 30 mins later when the fire brigade said so Hopefully lessons are learned

What a mess! That is totally contrary to fire safety legislation and i would be very tempted to also report that to Manchester Fire and Rescue (who, no doubt, will have started an investigation). How scary (and incredibly dangerous) - legislation says that there absolutely should be a responsible person and systems for evacuation/risk assessment. So glad to see youre ok. And still jealous re Pete Tong - i love him but, due to Long Covid, cant do gigs at the moment xxx
