Wonderful to watch while knitting! I made Christmas cookies this morning so I can give some to our "kids" when they're here for a Sunday birthday gathering. Hmmm. I might sneak away and get one of those cookies. Yum. I loved your snow. We've only had a little so far in MN, and it's already gone.

My Pilea does the same and remarkably recovered after not being watered for 2 weeks (really hated that). Mine definitely likes at least a little drink every day and good lighting. Loved your take on vlogmas and that was a fair bit of snow . - must make everything so much harder to get around and get things done. re your plant , a pilea I think you had an issue with - its quite possibly being overwatered? Over and under watering is one of the biggest issues with plant care and so easily done. Pileas like weekly watering and its a good idea to feel the soil before watering . if it has dried out (good) its ready to be watered but if the soil feels damp to the touch, you dont need to add water. indirect , bright light suits them best , not a baking hot windowsill in direct sunlight (no fear right now!) They alsio grow toward the direction of the light , so its a good idea to get into a habit of rotating the plant when you water. Hope this helps. Its an easy plant once you get the conditions right .

I am both a plant mom and a plant grandma. I have homing a lot of my son's plants because his apartment doesn't have enough light. I understand your pleasure at your plants. I knit that often plants get over watered. Don't know if that's your problem. They do make apps where you can upload a photo of your plant and the app will help diagnose the problem. I don't use them, I rely on my son. 😊

And it's so hard to know because when you use the app it says could be overwatered or underwatered 🤷‍♀️ It keeps giving me new leaves at the top, but nothing on bottom. Thanks for the advice 🍀🌿

About the Pilea plant, it appears to be soil/water related (over watering). Corrective methodology... 1. Remove the pot and inspect the roots. The roots should not be pot bounded io the roots should not fill up the entire pot, should have space. 2. Look if the roots are in healthy condition io no rot or nematodes. If all of that is OK then remove the existing soil around the roots and replant in a new pot with a soilless medium (coco peat) with pH of 6-6.5. Watering once a week. Planting medium should never stay wet. It needs a dry period. About 150ml per week. Now that is an educated guess cause we don't know the conditions of your room where you keep the plants. You will have to monitor and adjust to that. Internal relative humidity plays a big role. Check PAR (light wave lenghts).... Lol thb this all seems kinda complicated but not surprising cause all this info is coming from my horticulturist husband. Just use the info as a guide. There is more like cutting the resting node so it will make a new bud on the naked stem. The apex growth should be cut, correct fertiliser, etc etc. Let me know if you want all that info too.
