Oh no, another one I must have missed! 1) ALFEEEEE!!!! OMG so cute! 2) "Peckish" brand bird seed? I'm dying. 3) Our big mall looks just like that and it is sad. They tore down an entire block of historical buildings in the center of our town in the 1970s, and now it all just stands practically empty. They are also repurposing the top floor with things like a karate studio, a gymnastics gym, a skate park, a trampoline bouncy gym thing, an Arthur Murray dance studio, and I don't know what else. The downstairs still has a few things, and they changed one of the big anchor stores into a massive movie theater...which also now sits pretty much empty. Sad state of things all over, I'm afraid. 4) I NEEEEEEED a PaperChase here where I live. We have NO stationery stores anywhere anymore. It is awful. Even all the stand-alone Hallmark stores are closing and going to just being inside department stores. :( Hope you are doing well and not down with some awful new year's crud. There seems to be a 3-week flu going around. Goodness, chicken and rice for tea? My three are getting on a boat! Xoxo

Hello my lovely! I found reading your comment really interesting - I didn't know your malls were also going this way too :( Whenever I see them on KZbin they always look so full of life and offering so much. A lot of people rave about online - and yes it is good for some things, but the negative effects on shopping in high streets and malls far outweigh them. Going out and about browsing and shopping is a good thing - socially and mentally and soon, we won't have anywhere to do that. :( it makes me feel so depressed when I see empty spaces as you described. Just ruins and it doesn't speak well for the health of a country - economically or culturally. I hope you are doing well, lovely. Thankfully, we have managed to avoid any bugs over Christmas and New Years - but things have been a tad hectic and very bad weather here! I hope you enjoy the new video coming VERY soon! Excellent vlogmas Queenie. Alfie looked cute in his coat and scarf, animals love the Snow Fun seeing him eating the Snow. I have never been to Wimbledon Shopping centre, looked a nice place, shame so many shops are closed, sadly that's a sign of the times. Love the Jesus from Paperchase, so Heavenly. Haha, Lee! He's from a rescue centre in Sheffield, so he's used to the cold! He also doesn't mind me putting "clothes" on him - wait 'til you see his Elf costume! He loves it! It's so sad that shopping centres are dying out - I'm so glad I was a teenager when I was - no phones and safe places to hang out. These centres were so good for elderly people too - warm and easy to get around. Everything is hard now. :( Haha! I hope you are keeping well and warm where you and have something proper lovely for tea! Qx

hi queenie, i love hanging out with you on your videos, London is definitively a city that knows how to dress up for christmas. im keepin' up with you on your vlogmas videos and you make us feel like if we were just there. love seeing all the streets decorated with lights, the stores, everything is just so beautiful. thanks for showing us london and sharing with us. BTW on this special video, I kinda felt a bit nostalgic seeing the mall a bit empty too. it's normal, i've been myself in shopping centers that are a bit abandoned and you just can't help it to feel kind of a bit depressed or something. but that mall still looks very cool, I hope many stores open in there and it gets full of life soon, because it is a pretty nice place for sure. Alfie looked nice and snug, and enjoyed the snow. Loved the video, but wasn't the shopping centre depressing? There's something about shopping centres that make you feel that you could be in any shopping centre, in any city in the UK, they all have the same shops, and atmosphere. Glad that you managed to grab a decent haul in Paperchase. The umbrellas in the shopping centre were very reminiscent of the upside down umbrellas that were hanging in Grasse, this past summer. No, I didn't go, only saw pics of them ha ha.

I must confess, I am Royalty too, the same as you, but Linda at OJ knows me as Prince Barry, long story, but I used to do perfume reviews on various perfume forums. I haven't seen her for a few years, but I remember the first time we met, she came down the spiral staircase in the shop, and greeted me with, 'Prince!!!', much to the astonished faces of customers in the shop. A VLOG of the arcades would be brilliant, it was exactly something that we said last night after watching your video. I also used to know Roja Dove, who owns the Roja Dove perfumery in the Burlington Arcade, but it was many years ago when he worked at Guerlain. Sorry for the ramble.'

@@QueenieofLondon I used to review scents on perfume forums as a hobby, that's where my Prince Barry name came from. Next time that you are in Fortnums, go up to the perfumery, and take a sniff of Tabac Blonde on the Caron counter, I'm sure that it will impress you, it's quite heavy, and was first created in 1919, I think. Jicky from Guerlain is another classic that's quite heavy.

I know! I feel so terrible for him! I have got him some soothing cream for when he gets back home. It protects his pads from chapping and getting sore and he makes a dash to sit right by the radiator when we get in. Qxx
