Maybe make a few bookish/fandom inspired Jack O' Lanterns. Last year I painted mine with acrylics instead of carving it and it lasted super long and so much easier. Haven't found the strength yet, but I'm going to be baking a pumpkin bread with my kids. I know baking is strenuous, maybe a Halloween themed self care isn't so bad.

Do you use canned pumpkin in your bread? I see it in a lot of recipes but it’s very hard to get in Ireland! 😢

@@iwillinaminute yes I do use the canned one, with 4 kids it's definitely quicker. Some people add chocolate chips and others almonds. I'm not great at baking and it was a hit with my kids and husband. Not too many ingredients either.

Thank you for showing some Dreamlight Valley! I've been on the fence about it, I love farming sims in general. I'm not a massive Disney fan so I don't feel the need to urgently play it but I'll definitely get the free version when it becomes available. Games like that are so relaxing. Watching you play makes me want to boot up my AC again. I love hearing about what you're reading! Sorry to hear about the mould on the secondhand book, such a lovely copy otherwise. I honestly don't know what to do when they're mouldy - I've heard that freezing them and scraping off the mould helps, but I've never tried it. It turns me off buying secondhand online (it happened to me before too, but I purged the book when I moved away so I didn't treat it lol.)
