Loved watching this episode. The Lindt chocolate box holding the buttons brought back many happy memories. I have one in my cupboard and it holds small mementos. The chocolates were given to me by my husband before we were married on one of our first dates - an outing to the theatre in London some 59 years ago. 🇬🇧

I’ve got a bag of buttons that belonged to my mum. Some of them are still attached to bits of fabric or knitwear where she has just cut them off in a row. I feel such a lovely connection to her when I look through them.

I love a button tin. ❤ Mine was once my Mum’s button tin and has buttons from my late mother-in-law as well as my own buttons and other fastenings. I have strict instructions from my daughters not to get rid of any of the contents as they will inherit the tin one day.

Loved seeing your button box!! I have my grandmothers, great Aunts and part of my Mommas in my collection. I love going through them. My sister and I get a kick out of looking through mine and hers together.

I couldn't think how best to describe Superdrug either Becky. According to Google, Superdrug is a health and beauty retailer. That makes sense 🙂

Another calming and interesting blog. I have looked at your ravelry library and see you have done a lot of colour work. I have knit for 30 years but just tried my first colour work socks and had to abandon them ! Any tips on colour work as I would love to master it x
