Not sure where you visit/travel in NC, but if you're ever in Black Mountain (near Asheville), stop off at Blue Ridge Biscuit Company for brekkie. Then do some shopping around town (don't discount the hardware store - it's amazing) and have lunch at My Father's Pizza.
