The detox is SO good! I’m a big fan of dr. Cabral! The first two days of fasting is absolutely the hardest. It’s not required to cut caffeine for the detox, just recommended. I just drink mine black and it helps lower any herxheimer reactions which sounds like what you’re experiencing! His book the rain barrel effect is really good if you want the science behind it all in an easy to understand way! Anyway whatever works for you but I love seeing other people use his stuff because equilife has been a life changer for me!

Oh! And the shakes are really hard to drink those first two days 😅 I think they are more palatable with added ice and cinnamon. You get used to the taste and I drink it everyday now!

We’ve had the Philips 3200 fully automatic espresso machine for a little over a year now and LOVE it. Everyone in the family enjoys it, the kids get hot chocolate or creamers from the frothed milk and I make myself a latte every morning, my latte art isn’t perfect but I love looking at my beautiful latte every morning. It’s definitely a morning highlight! In the afternoons I’ll typically make myself an iced latte but I also keep a French press for cold brew cause sometimes I just want a cold brew for an afternoon pick-me-up. Whatever you end up getting, I hope you love it like I love mine 😊

We have the Gaggia Classic espresso machine. We love it! Honestly, I wouldn't want to go back to drip coffee. We also have a french press, but never use it.

Jura can make coffee and espresso I highly recommend had mine for over 10 yrs and it is the most used appliance in my kitchen 😂

Not sure if you follow Dr Mindy Pelz but she’s awesome and her book Fast like a girl is really good. Detoxing and fasting according to her is better when you are in your estrogen phase! You need glucose in your progesterone phase so maybe that was why? Haha
