Phisnom's fans proceeded to send the kid death threats and actual gore, and in true Phisnom fashion he just threw fuel on the fire and made fun of the situation rather than telling them to stop. He then got fired from the Fanverse and is no longer allowed to associate with (or even speak about) FNAF in any way.

Scott was in a depression because none of his games were going well, and people heavily criticized that game in particular saying that his characters looked creepy. The fact that Bonnie just decides to chill in your office is much like Mangle hanging up on the ceiling in FNAF 2, taunting you because they can do the deed at any moment. But while Mangle sits above just barely in line of sight, Bonnie just standing in front of you with a stare that could cut through stone is much more intimidating, frightening, and gets you even more than just a standard jumpscare.

Nah those original fnaf 1 animatronics still give me the creeps. Especially Bonnie, Chica, and Freddy. Foxy was never intimidating to me though. I honestly think the games got less and less scary as time went on because Scott knew he had to make the animatronics look more horrifying to actually scare us. Which didn’t work for a lot of people. There’s just something about the original animatronics. They’ll always look creepy as hell to me.
