Prayfully meditating on Matthew 8:23-27, "Jesus Calms the Storm at Sea," has brought me tremendous peace throughout my 50 years of Catholicism. Once I recognized the ship is the Church (metaphorically speaking), all the crisises in the Church that have tempted me to "jump ship" over the decades just disappear. IMHO, we need this "great calm" now more than ever and I firmly believe it is coming! ITE AD IOSEPH! 😇🙏

The Divine nature of the Church will always be intact, the human nature of the Church is about to undergo a shift that will align Her Divine nature and human nature. Everything evil or untoward will fall. This is an AMAZING blessing for those who recognize the "chaos" is giving way to DIVINE order. It's an opportunity to correct societal problems. This is happening across the world, corrupt establishments are being seen for what they are. Those involved have a choice, remain as part of the problem or become part of the solution. The Davos pharmaceutical/transhumanist agenda is NOT in alignment with God's laws, they are pushing it SO hard even though Scripture and peer reviewed SCIENCE (epigenetics & quantum physics & neuroscience) prove we are already capable of healing ourselves without medicine, and are wired for peace, love, and cooperation... not fear, anger and competition like we've been taught. As far as transhumanism goes, God already made us to be superhuman- made in His image...there are examples of this across the world, people are waking up and saying WOW, I didn't know that was possible. Allowing ourselves to be drugged with mRNA technology aimed at altering the genome, chips implanted in the brain to accomplish the gifts that the Bible says we ALREADY have is WRONG. God made us to be 100% HUMAN! Dr. Caroline Leaf... "Perfect You" - use Scripture to heal the mind and body, and proves how science has caught up with the Bible. Why would certain individuals in the Church join with groups who want to alter our DNA, create man-robot hybrids, push a synthetic food (labeled sustainable) diet that seems to have no upside but their profit, population control, abortion, or teach us that we are defective so we need drugs and chips to be God wants us to be... whole & free? God made us a complete package, lies of satan tell us we're less, came from random mutations, or that survival of the fittest is the model that fits nature. Science proved we've been lied to for decades.

Thanks Padre. I have recommended this series to the youth Catechism class that i teach at my parish. We had just begun discussing the stages of the spiritual life and the levels of prayer when the churches were closed because of the lock-down. We are in Oman in the Middle East, and it does not seem as though the churches will reopen anytime soon (there are 4 parishes here). Thanks again and God bless.

This is good, true and beautiful. Thank you. I just don't understand the repeated admonition that praying like St. Alphonsus Liguori or like St. Theresa, sounds protestant... it's confusing and in my humble understanding, unnecessary.
@johannpeterdurrenberger80214 жыл бұрын
I think Father emphasizes that because many Traditionalists have prejudices against anything that seems Protestant and many protestants speak about prayer and the a 'personal relationship' with Christ in a manner that may seem similar to St. Teresa at first. Father probably emphasizes the Catholicity of this manner of prayer because he knows that the majority of his viewers are 'traditionalists' and wants them to be open to this method of prayer as well.
@veronicadelarosa-clark71454 жыл бұрын
@@johannpeterdurrenberger8021 Thanks for the explanation. I really don't know what a traditionalist is. I'm 50+ plus years old, always Catholic, cradle and all, and I can't think of anything more Traditionally CATHOLIC than St. Alphonsus Liguori or Sta. Teresa de Avila... but I guess it's like when someone replies "I'm Catholic" when asked if you're Christian. Maybe it's a cultural thing? I always say yes, of course I'm Christian, of the originals from 2,000 years ago...
@jen97744 жыл бұрын
@@veronicadelarosa-clark7145 lol reminds me of a time when I asked my class of 9yr olds if they were Christian and I got :- no I'm a Methodist - no I'm a Baptist - no I'm a Catholic and similar from several other denominations. Not one child answered with yes. In those days Scripture lessons were a weekly thing and assembly, once a week, in the hall with prayers and hymn singing. Non-Christian children could sit outside and chat quietly or read a book.
