Cant imagine how smelly the coatee/grey blouses were after being soaked in the rain.

Your Neighbor Amos they get pretty rank. Ever smell a wet dog or goat? Sweating in them not much better.

Michelino Guarda sir, I currently go there and I just completed my rat year. 1. Yes, I am an out of stater, so I can relate to the “no name shit school” feel. There is no denying that VMI, while a GREAT school, is not commonly known. My friends still harass me like “oh it’s just a westpoint reject, you’re all fake cadets” so I can see what you mean. BUT, the ones I have encountered who do know about VMI, think VERY highly of it, and there are more people than you think who know about VMI/have connections to the school. 2. Since I’m only 1/4 of the way done, I can’t attest to the arduous grind of your entire cadetship, but by talking to upper class men after breakout, I know a little of what I can expect. It’s not meant to be easy, running on 5 hours of sleep (most sleep an avg cadet may get), but that’s the whole point. Truly buckling down and focusing, and getting things done goes a long way. 3. I’m sorry that you’re struggling after VMI, but I also believe it has nothing to with VMI itself. Everyone stumbles upon misfortune in their life. I can’t talk from your POV, so I won’t say anything, but I do hope your luck turns. 4. What you said about the honor code is completely false. While I can’t say anything or give any details (and may be hovering over the line as it is), I can assure you that athletes are NOT invincible when it comes to the honor code. They are all held to the same standard.
