I wish you well with the show. It's a little advanced at times but when I understand the info, it's extremely useful.

Hi Urban Media, Thank you for taking the time to watch and sorry for the delayed response. We do cover topics across a range of complexities, and are glad that some of them are useful to you. We are pulling together topics for our 4th season of Streaming Alchemy (starting March 2023), so let me know if there are specific things you'd like to have covered. Just email us at 'support (at) gnural.com' with your suggestions. Happy New Year and thanks for your feedback! Best, John

Great show, John! One of the caveats in using Mixes as submixes, at least in v25, is that taking a Mix off-screen would mute the sources in the production regardless of the input's AutoMix setting. This bit me in a show, and a quick note to the very helpful vMix folks enlightened me. Mixes were, at least originally, designed to the be used on Outputs 2, 3 and 4 and not as inputs to Mix 1. Perhaps this has changed in v26 and the addition of more Mixes...time will tell. So, as always: Test, test and test again. ;-)

Thanks Chris. I tend to think of audio processing as all being in the Dante/external Mixer domain, which lets me map each bus output independently. I know this isn't the way everyone works, so audio is something I should probably discuss in more detail when covering topics like this. Thanks for watching - have a great New Year! John

This is advanced, but some of what you talk about has gaps....it is not a step by step tutorial, and assumes you know how to do certain things beforehand.

Hi Sean - While I try to break things down into logical steps, I know that we make assumptions around people already being familiar with some of the elements we don't cover. Sorry if this made the show less useful to you. Please feel free to reach out with specific questions if I can fill in more details for you. Best, John

@@StreamingAlchemy Ty for your reply. I should have been more clear. I get it. It was just an observation, and is helpful for others to know that if they are at core beginner stage they may want to learn a few basics first.
