Might take me a little while but I love my 93 tune on my month old 23 GT and I will be getting a loki kit and I don't want to push the mt82 too hard. I have had 4 brands of tunes on 4 of my 5 Mustangs and yours is by far the biggest jump from stock. procharger use canned tunes, local dealer won't sell me a kit and wants 10k install with no dyno tune, rousch runs too hot and causes problems on 18 and up because they didn't flip the superchager upside down to make room for intercooling after ford added direct injection and dealer wants 12k for flash tune plus install both of top of the kit. Most other kits are find your own tuner and fuel systems The Loki and odin kits really seem like the best you can get and I think they also have the best pricing for everything included.

I just installed my loki kit on my 16 f150 im using the 3.1/79mm pulley and k060710 belt that your guys recommend at my elevation in New Mexico 5500-6000 feet and im barely getting 6lbs of boost what do i need to get to 10-12 lbs?

I’m going the Odin throttle body and intake upgrade as opposed to going down in pulley size. From one of your previous videos I should expect similar power gains to this video after a retune?

Going to the Odin Twinjet 69 and cold air will yield Odin Level 2 results in regards to power as these kits utilize the same supercharger. You'll be pleased 😀 Thank you for your business and support.

Have had my Gen2R for over 3 years now. Still love it. 17 GT. I still have stock manifolds and cats. I’ve been running the 85MM pulley. I’m guessing that’s around 9 psi? Also have the Ford twin 60 throttle body. Are there any concerns with the cats if I drop to the 79MM pulley? Also what is the boost difference vs my current 85MM? Car made 611 / 479 on the VMP dyno. MT82 3.31 car. Thanks for any feedback.

Boost will about 1psi per pulley size. An 85 MM is roughly 9-10psi. The biggest risk for your catalytic convertors is overheating. A 79 (3.0) will be about 12 psi with your 2.3 L Gen2R and is very close to the kit boost levels of our 2.65 L kits that we currently offer. With proper care, they survive well.

Just purchased a F150 at a dealership with your Odin kit with the 8.8 pulley and the truck is stupid fast and drives on the streets like a normal truck till I put my foot down. I have no clue who tuned it and it didn’t come with a tuning device.

Honestly, that's subjective. It's more like "stock". Drivability isn't bad with our larger throttle bodies, just different.

Great question. The stock throttle body and intake act as a restriction. We saw 12 +/- psi of boost in this video on the smallest pulley. That's equivalent to what a 3.4 (88) produces with the TJ 69 and Odin cold air.

I am debating on Loki or Roush, does Loki retain the 3 yr / 36k warranty like Roush by chance?

We do not. Our kits come with a one year parts manufacturing warranty on the parts themselves. We would advise that you read those warranty documents closely to confirm that your intended usage of the car and other bits are covered to your expectations. We addressed some very specific concerns when designing the supercharger utilized in our Loki Level 1 and Odin Level 2 kits around air charge cooling that allow for more power and efficiency. This is what Justin was referencing when he spoke of OEM Level reliability with a performance mindset while driving. Roush kit runs hot it was fine for 11 to 17 but the needed to update the design like everyone esle but didn't. Intercooler are way to small. In short vmp will outlast your warranty.

It really comes down to how you treat the transmission under power/during the shift. We have a large number of customers that run MT82 backed supercharged cars and as long as they take care on the shift and aren't power shifting/abusing it too bad, it survives. In all transparency, Track Attack (our Predator swapped '17 GT SEMA car that makes 1k+ wheel) still has a stock MT82 that has survived hundreds of dyno pulls at big power both with the Predator swap and the previous supercharged Coyote combinations. If you intend to race it, you'll need to upgrade to a Calimer/similar built transmission or a Tremec.

Yep! Justin doesn't mess around, but the airbox and single 80 mm TB keep boost in check. This is the "cheat code" to make more power with the Loki Level 1 kit.

I'm tossing up between the Loki or the whipple here in Australia. My concern is the numerous reports of the VMP throttle body fault. Whats being done to rectify this?

Appreciate your consideration! Part of being one of the most popular throttle bodies for not only supercharged applications but also naturally aspirated applications, and virtually anything that fits the GT500 bolt pattern, is increased visibility in the market. That being said, we are constantly monitoring quality and working to continue to provide an excellent throttle body option for the aftermarket. It comes with a one a year warranty at the time of purchase. As for the Loki kit , specifically, it utilizes your stock throttle body for simplicity.

@VMPPerformanceTV fair reply. What i wpuld like to see is some track data for the system for circuit application. Generally speaking, turbo is the better choice, however i've been there, done that, and i feel a v8 and charger is a match made in heaven. It would be awesome to see a syatem be able to handle 20 laps. One stop at full song and be able to control temps incredibly well. Maybe a dual pass radiator system, with dual thermostat? Just throwing ideas around 😅
