Thanks for the Informative video, however, I tried updating my test iPhone device from Workspace One MDM and didn't work. It shows download in progress in device readiness but, nothing happens. I tried override settings, resetting network settings, and even removing all profiles but, nothing seems to want to work. Under software updates in the iPhone, I can see Update Requested but seems to stay stuck at that process.

Apple do not have an API to force an update, users can still defer updates indefinitely.

I was wondering about this. How about supervised devices?
@DrGeta66611 ай бұрын
@@binkbankbonk1 yeah same, Apple recently added a limit on how many times you can defer for MacOS. but no API for iOS.

Under the iOS update within the restriction policy, you can enable 'delay OS updates (days)'. This will allow the end user to push off the updates for those allotted days then force the update. Resources / Profiles & Baselines / Profiles / select add profile or edit an existing iOS Restrictions Profile / OS Updates.

@@JohnG-np4uc incorrect, this is only for MacOS, not iOS, Apple do not open this API, no MDM is able to do this.
