OH MY GOD, of COURSE!! you flip the image so the tracking points are applied in reverse... but then you reverse it right back again with the track motion! why didn't I think of that?? that's genius! Incredible, you actually helped so much with this video. I got to the picture in picture step myself but couldn't think of a way to invert the tracking data. this is so simple!

why'd you flip the horizontal and vertical just to flip it back?
@el_daro Жыл бұрын
Because in order to stabilize an image we have to move the frame of view in the opposite direction of the movement we want to stabilize. Imagine an object moving on a straight line from the left side of the frame to the right. Just a horizontal line for the sake of simplicity. Now, if you want that object to always appear in the same spot on the screen, you would have to move the frame accordingly in the opposite direction. You use the motion tracking on the said object and then flip it horizontally (we're keeping it simple, remember?). Now, if your object moves N pixels to the right during one frame, the reversed motion tracking moves 10 pixels to the left during the same frame. All you have to do now is move the frame with the reversed motion tracking data so that your object stays in the same place in reference to the screen. Of course, since we have two dimensions, we have to flip it both vertically and horizontally.

Hey. Any idea how can i make this work for a TikTok video? my video is recorded in 1920x1080p, but for TikTok I have to zoom in to eliminate the blackbars. Using this method it makes it move weird after I zoom it in in track motion feature. It works as a charm on landscape but cant make it happen in portrait.
@jaqenhghar29702 жыл бұрын
you need to reverse your dimensions 1080 [height] x 1920 [width]. Also before you render, use the same settings. I had this problem when I first started making my own Tiktoks. Hope this helps!

@@jaqenhghar2970 I did reverse them on preview if that's what you re saying. But it still goes all over the place. I tried for like an hour to do it but I cant manage to get it right. Can you do a small tutorial maybe? Please? Thank you.
