East Africa leaders call for peace in DRC amid conflict that has displaced thousands

Ongoing fighting in the Democratic Republic of Congo’s eastern region between the army and M23 rebels has displaced thousands of people, with many seeking refuge in places like neighboring Rwanda. As the humanitarian crisis worsens, East African leaders are urging immediate action to bring peace and stability to the region.
