Thank you. I have to learn Thai as I was born in Thailand and have many relatives back in Thailand. I was not taught the language when we emigrated to Malaysia when I was three years old, So, It is imperative that I get a grasp of my language.

the video is very good but it would be better if you could provide how to read the thai sentence so that we could learn how the word is used in sentences

Your request seems to be outside the scope of this video. Jay did a great job of introducing important vocabulary words. It is very useful for introduction and for review. If you are interested in speaking full sentences, then the following process might be helpful: 1) If you haven't already done so, take a weekend to memorize the Thai alphabet. You will learn 44 vocabulary words in the process. This will absolutely help you to read the words as they're being spoken by Jay. 2) Next, learn the Thai alphabet song. At that point, you will be able to speak 44 Thai sentences, while immersing yourself in hearing Thai. You will learn the sentence structure, and you can begin to substitute other vocabulary words that you already know. 3) Keep watching videos like this. It is so important to build vocabulary while listening to native speakers. It helps to develop your phonemic awareness. The various tones will start to become more familiar. Note: Repeat everything that you hear. If your tones don't sound exactly like the native speaker, then you're probably saying the wrong word(s). 4) Consider purchasing a program. I'm unfamiliar with Thaipod101, but I will consider trying it out as I advance. Currently, I just started using the Drops app since it was heavily discounted over the holidays. It has helped me to build up over 500 words/phrases within a few weeks. It provides a lot of images, repetition, and instant feedback. The trial version will give you a great feel for it, but the unlimited plan will really let you take off. Again, I repeat everything I hear and compare it to the letters in each word. If my tones don't sound exactly the same, then I keep practicing. I hope these suggestions are helpful. Also, thanks Jay for the helpful and entertaining vocabulary instruction!

Thank you for the lesson. There are so much to learn in this half an hour🙏😀 21:27 I thought possesive pronoun will be placed behind a noun in Thai. Eg: your mother = แม่คุณ. What is the difference between คุณแม and แม่คุณ? Can we use both? Is one more polite than the other?
