Miley’s distortion is a bit more intentional and she’s actually more of a rock singer stylistically approached. Christina is just purely straining sometimes.

I am a fervent fan of Xtina and I agree with some (though not all) of the things you say about her. In general, in videos like this where she goes note for note with someone, I think she might lose, however, in a full performance, she is simply better (in my opinion). Christina Aguilera sometimes be doing whatever she wants to when she sings alone on stage but if she had to sing a duet with someone you better believe she is gonna bring it and make them look basic. She understands the assignment when it matters lol.

Christina's videos were a choice, Miley lows are soo incredible, but I don't think that vocally she is comparable to Christina, if we include vocal range, agility, falsetto and head voice, the balance tips to one side. thanks for the reaction !
