Heck; actor, puppeteer, successful band and also voiceover artist? Everything you touch you turn to gold. I’m genuinely in awe.

Ahhh thank you so so much! I get really absorbed into my projects and my work which I think definitely helps towards things being successful, but I'm also superrr guilty of making myself burn out a lot, so I'm still trying to find the balance ⚖️

Rather well made. Reminds me of the soundproofing I did for lockdown. I did community radio for my old uni and when lockdown hit I was recording content from home and I ended up using an ikea Kallax drawer and shoved a loaf of cushions into it then draped a duvet over the top. Ended up using my camera to do the recording and my tablet to read the notes of what I was talking. Worked like a charm every week for 18 months.

This is probably something I won't ever need to do but I loved watching the tour. Gives a great insight in how it is to be a voice artist. Loved learning about it. I'm also glad I'm not the only one who takes progression photos during a project.

Aw can't ask for a better review than that! I'm so glad you enjoyed watching it. I love a progress pic!!

That was a fascinating view into your set-up. Very professional. Hope you checked your wardrobe for any hints of Narnia before you began though. They can be troublesome 🙂

This is an awesome creation! Never would I imagine VO actors having to pack themselves in their closets because of lockdown.

This is great! Very similar to my set up. That Neumann sounds perfect for your voice. I use Reaper as my DAW, but I will give Audition a look as well!

Oo I've never looked at Reaper, I'll have to give it a look

nice! I am a vocalist performing a tribute to Paul Simon, and I have a crazy ritual before I sing. Buzzing my lips and even doing facial exercises. You do have a lovely singing voice I would love to back you up with harmony for Simon and Garfunkel's "sound of silence"I bet we would do a wonderful job with it🙂
@YoungsterBeccy7 ай бұрын
I find the lip buzzing ones hard! -which I guess means I should be doing them more. Do you do a set routine each time or change it up?
@keeganmmonahan7 ай бұрын
@@YoungsterBeccy I usually keep the same routine. I find it helpful to lip buzz scales, correcting myself if one note is flat or sharp, while being conscious of singing from my diaphragm instead of my head. facial exercises are very important to me, helping me to stay in key. and lastly, believe it or not, fake coughing is helpful because you push the air out from your diaphragm while exercising your vocal cord. anyway I love your falsetto, it is so clear and wonderful !😊

Do you do any post-production editing to your voice in terms of EQ or do clients prefer a clean track? Great video!
@YoungsterBeccy7 ай бұрын
The clients usually want it clean so that they can edit it as they like from their end 💜

Don't you ever get claustrophobic in that little space, or are you just so locked in on your project that you don't notice?
@YoungsterBeccy7 ай бұрын
I get very locked in and don't really notice where I am😅. Although the majority of the time I don't need the sound blanket hung over the booth so I'm still open to the room

I'm so glad they were interested in involving me even though I couldn't be in LA for filming! So, getting to cover this song from the series for the end credits and voicing a character in another episode felt very special ✨💕

@@YoungsterBeccy Nice. For St. Patrick’s Day, would it be fun if G.L.O.P. got to show there behind the scenes footage and photos of the them wearing green screen suits from the past projects they’ve worked on?

I'm watching this and wondering if you could do the same thing and make a little box to sleep in that's sound proof and climate controlled and then I'm like wait no that's a vampire coffin nevermind
