I love how Kelly knows exactly how flipping loud she is (lol) and always accommodates to her duet partners by adjusting her timbre for harmonies and pulling back the microphone. The way she sounds harmonizing is completely different from how she ever sounds singing by herself, it’s crazy. When she and Ariana sang “Santa Can’t You Hear Me” together live, I’d argue she pulled away a bit too much considering Ariana was almost as loud and resonant as Kelly was. That song really shows how good both of them are (together and separately)!! I’ve watched that performance way too many times lmao it’s so good

I learned two things about Miranda Lambert from that video She has a voice way deeper than gunpowder and lead. Also she's an LGBTQ ally win. In all seriousness Kelly can match and harmonize with anyone and she's so respectful of the other artist. We also saw her duet with Chris Martin and jelly roll all very different genre. And you noticed that she will watch the person she's singing with especially in these ones that were practiced for 30 seconds. And her talent is amazing I don't think she's ever had a bad song. Also first time watching you beautiful voice
