Thanks so much, for your comments on this beautiful song! I really couldn't agree more, about those kind of singers who substitute tricks and trills for actual substance - with Dimash, it's all in service to the song, and I'm so glad you recognise that! I really like your reactions. You're right. Each song of Dimash is a story. And this is not just some kind of story, but a story about yourself. It arises within you and it is about yourself. That is why it touches you so deeply. And this ability - through a song to tell a person his own story - is a real gift from God. Listening to Dimash's songs, we return to ourselves, remember ourselves again and begin to live a real life. I listened to this song 40 times in succession. At first I likened the delicacy of Dimash’s voice to a gentle kiss, but then I realized it was more like a single tear rolling down a cheek, building in power to a tsunami - ostensibly built from the sorrow. Admittedly, the visuals were beautiful, but even without the visual, Dimash can easily provide us with the soundtrack of our own imagination. Beautiful song and lovely reaction.

This was my first time hearing this song. Dimash has the uncanny ability to captivate you with his voice. He can tell a story and take you on an emotional rollercoaster just by changing register, tempo, alternating singing techniques, etc. He is simply amazing. I don't speak a word of Chinese but his voice painted a picture for me.

It was nice to see you react to this beautiful song that is often overlooked by youtube reactors. Thank you! For those who haven't yet heard the news, March 12, 2021 was a pivotal day in the life of Dimash as he became the most requested artist on MTV's youtube channel Friday Livestream. Enough of us took the time to spend three hours helping Dimash out by typing REQUEST DIMASH in the chat next to the show's streaming video. Our efforts succeeded in helping Dimash replace the act that had held the top spot consistently for over six months! Our work, however, is not done! Dimash's position at the top is only temporary UNLESS we tune into the MTV youtube channel Friday Livestream (5-8 pm New York time, weekly on Fridays) in large numbers and type REQUEST DIMASH as many times as possible in the chat during the three hours of the program. Voting for Dimash can also be done Mondays-Fridays on Google Forms, Instagram and Twitter. Let's help Dimash keep his rightful place at the top and to realize his dream of being as successful in the western world as he is in his own country.

You are exactly right. People misunderstood Dimash is all about high notes. But that would be boring fast if all he sings was high note after high note. Dimash is above all a story teller. His amazing ability to use all notes, any notes in between, to create a whole complete universe. Even the quiet space (intermission) is rightfully part of it.

You are so right: Dimash is a magician. I must confess that I underestimated this song for a while, because I didn`t like the videos, the official video is about a video game. But the song is really amazing and Dimash`s voice is so mesmerizing, that I often listen to it before I go to sleep. Dimash can transport you into other worlds and this is really a gift at these times. To your offer: I`ve got the same probleme as you with the re-flux, so I often get inflammations of the vocal chords. Also I suffer to allergies so my voice often isn`t clear and my throat is hurting. In the last months I couldn`t sing for weeks. Now it`s better already but can be worse tomorrow. What can I do?

Someone has combined the animated film with the realistic one which alters the video. I prefer the original all in the animation. It flows with the music much better. The song tends to get lost here with all the action. But, if you can just listen, Dimash's voice is absolutely beautiful.

Jake, I see a lot of singing coaches via "reaction" videos, and I am sure each coach will attract the best students for their techniques. What I don't see is "voice coaches", those who teach people the basic skills of a vocal communication, aside from singing. Many have "lost their voices" through all kinds of social conditioning and even trauma. Perhaps, one option might be to offer videos about claiming and building a powerful speaking voice, as well as whatever musical coaching calls you. I so appreciate your reaction videos, too!

You absolutely understand Dimash and his approach to his singing. Let me write down what he said in an interview: when people talk about my range, 6 octavs, 5 octavs... I wish they would not pay so much attention to it. This is just my tool. My main goal is to distract people a bit from routine and bring them to the fantasy world. It will be fun for you to watch the events that lead to this performance. Dimash flew from China to the U.S. in L.A. to meet with a famous U.S. Composer for this song. He also guided Dimash in the performance a bit. Although the original was actually an animated video. I have not seen this one; it must be new.
