However I think what she meant, if I'm not mistaken, is that the coach has taught her much MORE than voice usage and voice control; she has imparted in her student the ability to connect emotionally with the music (in addition to having taught how to physically use the voice). And a singer probably cant make the most of her voice unless she goes above and beyond, "feeling" the music and connecting with it emotionally as this singer here appears to be doing.

The teacher not only teaches hers students how to sing, but to put emotions in their voices. This is one of the most important things when you are singing, specialy in emotional songs. She is so special, she always want the best for her students, and if I got it right, she also takes care of their physical health, and it is so important specialy with kids. Her voice is so melodic. My grandmother was a vocalist, and she often said that having a voice that actually carries music is something that cannot be taught. You can have an incredibly skillful and technical vocalist, but some of them just simply have an empty sound and tone. This sweetheart’s voice is angelic and passionate naturally.
