DK (black jacket) is their stage singer, he was the lead in Excalibur ! Seventeen has some incredible vocal powerhouses. DK and Seungkwan have the biggest voices and I love how different their tones are.

DK, Seungkwan with Hoshi are in the sub unit BSS who is the clown unit of Seventeen. They have made their awards performances into mini concerts. It was so good, the Awards company made a video thanking them for their performance.

Very nice is not their most popular song by streams but it’s definitely one of their most iconic ones 😅 they really play it like 20 times at the encore of every concert and make their fans sing the high notes, dance and jump and it’s just so fun!!

I'm a carat since 2015. I remember when Aju Nice was released (we got to hear the song before watching the MV and performance). I loved the song at first listen. I remember SCoups went viral at the time because of his part in the bridge and it was one of the first times Seventeen went viral (though it wasn't originally his line, it's Wonwoo's line, but Wonwoo was ill and couldn't participate in music shows)

7:14 Dino is actually a main dancer and lead rapper. The fact that all of them are really good at transitions is insane. There's a reason we say they are 13 dancers, 13 vocalists, 13 rappers, 13 comedians etc

Yes, dino is the main dancer but he's almost one of the most professionally trained in the group. His vocal coach said he's the most improved idol he's ever taught and he's blown away. Before he couldn't hold a tune and was told he wouldn't be a good vocalist and now he has a vocal range on par with woozi and a stable vocal control, esp foe his hard hitting dancing

FYI all of the songs they were singing on Dingo Killing Voice and most of Seventeen's discography was produced (co-produced) by one of the member, Woozi. Also, they trained their vocal while running around from early on trainee days like 10-12 years ago in addition to their perfect synchronization dance routine, so that's how they got amazingly stable vocal. The reason it sounds so perfect is because it goes through post production (not sure if thats the right word 😭) basically editing, but it doesn't mean it isn't live. They really sing live in one take and the production just edits it later to make it sound flawless.

Thank you for all your compliments of Seventeen, particularly of their voices. It's an honor coming from a vocal coach yourself. I remember during one of their concert rehearsals, their live band (or was it their musical director? 😅) thought they had an AR cause they sounded so good live 🥲 hope you get to check more of their songs. They sing amazing but they also perform so well they're called synchronized kings in terms of dancing 🥰 they have just released their best-of album and it think it's a good way to check all their cover songs so far and with the new track, MAESTRO. they also have an MV of it 😊 another recommendation would be Super (Sonogong) which was released a year ago. Seventeen is great live. They have over 10 years of doing this already including training period. You should watch videos of their concerts, especially encore where they run around the stage while singing. They really are the definition of total performers.

the way you can tell that this is live is by the adlibs. you can especially hear it in CLAP and VERY NICE (all those "ow!!"s and "ah-ah-ah"s and "come on, come on, come on" and such were not in the studio versions, they just adlibbed that live). one of the reasons that they are so popular as performance idols/at concerts is because they sound so good live.

Seventeen really are amazing vocalists. Such beautiful voices they have, every single one of them! SVT's is known for their upbeat fun and melodic songs, like thats their brand which makes so much sense by you saying that their voices suit that kind of songs. The reason why they can sing so good while playing around, in addition to their natural talent, their training methods play a significant role. During their trainee days, they would sing while running or jogging, which strengthened their core. Anddd also, they continue to receive vocal lessons up to this day.

There are a lot of great Killing Voice episodes. For some great vocalists, I recommend Ailee, BTOB, Kyuhyun, EXID, and AKMU. But they always bring in great artists so any of them are a great listen.
