Same this aspect kinda bothered me. Can barely call this snack wars if the comparison is so far off. Granted maybe part of the issue is the inaccessibility of fresh Korean snacks or the right Korean snacks in their area. I feel like it would have been just better not to include korean snacks if they weren't gonna give one that matched in similarity to the British "snacks". Even right off the bat, even if milkis is a childhood favorite to most, it already can't compare to tea. Especially since milkis leans on sweet and it's not served hot and on the mild side. It's no different to comparing American yogurt drink to a hot green tea. There not enough similarities other than it being drinks. Then using packaged snack with something like scones felt like a crime of comparison in general. Not even the same flavors either. Even outside country comparison. If sole based on category it's such a huge miss. That's like asking someone to taste processed twinkies and a freshly baked Pain au Chocolat. Then asking oh which pastry taste better. Like unless someone have a major love for twinkies, most will say the Pain au Chocolat. The korean snacks were destine to lose from the start.
