I love how the final track ends with birds while Dawn FM begins with them. Therefore the album could loop over and over again seamlessly. Perhaps that’s meant to represent how one could continuously loop in that purgatory state until they truly release their regret. Great album!
@TheeMoonstar3 жыл бұрын
Love that catch!
@zoneloveszonetta01153 жыл бұрын
Picture the album being like the listener is dead,” he told Billboard. “And they’re stuck in this purgatory state, which I always imagined would be like being stuck in traffic waiting to reach the light at the end of the tunnel. “And while you’re stuck in traffic, they got a radio station playing in the car, with a radio host guiding you to the light and helping you transition to the other side. (Heaven or Hell) So it could feel celebratory, could feel bleak, however, you want to make it feel, but that’s what The Dawn is for me.”
@skerley25243 жыл бұрын
Ye exactly and I think the individual songs portray each feeling of celebration, bleakness etc. It’s a true journey of life and emotions

Absolutely agree. Beautiful album when listened to all together. Like you’re taken down memory lane of your life from good fun times (how do I make you love me) to slower sadder times (here we go again) then they’re all combined into a nostalgic rhythm at the end with “less than zero”. Then put to sleep by the phantom regrets. I really love this majestic album and it’s amazing the different emotions and feelings it gives you

honestly i didnt get this album's vibe immediately the 1st listen but the 80s sounds and syths always resonated with me. so much so that i was listening to tory lanez alone at prom and dawn fm to see who did the 80s sound better. I was more into tory's at first but after really understanding dawn fm its in a whole different tier in every aspect. this sound is the weeknd's and i doubt anyone in this generation can hold a candle to it. the biggest reason i think this album is so great is because of the production and engeneering, its been a while since i can actually plan a whole ablum through and not even think to skip a song. i think this shouldve definately won a grammy and i appreciate the work he put in on this album, its 100% my fav by him. also im glad me searching him brought me to you because your voice is amazing. i need to find a vocal coach asap lol
