Spot on reaction. She has stated in interviews that all the movement she makes while performing is b/c she is full of energy. In her early performances it leads to awkward hand movements etc.. But in later performances she grew more comfortable performing and dancing to release the energy.

What you see here is what she is. She IS otherworldly, she IS one of a kind and she has her very personal style when it comes to song compositions, lyrics (poetry), outfits and relations with fans. I fancy your reactions, and would love to see you react to one of her own songs, I suggest Murder Song 54321 from the Nobel Concert 2015 or It Happened Quiet live from Nidarosdomen Cathedral in Trondheim, Norway. Both performances show her uniqueness.

Ken: the sexual part did not fit her version of the song; so she changed it... I am 90% sure that this version of he song was made for this radio program on short notice. If you look closely you can see a pice of papir on the piano, and Silje (the backup singer) has a papir also. Aurora is DEEPLY in the music... she does not think about what she is doing, she opens up and let it flow.... And you are ABSOLUTELY correct: she "wakes up" after the song, seen this several times. BTW: I have looked at A LOT of reacts video's lately......... You are one of the best... I would suggest reacting to a live preformance, of one of her own songs. The consert from Nidarosdomen are VERY good... kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJSqaq2Kr9icqac

Aurora is quite something! So unique and mesmerizing! To my way of thinking, there's an existential beauty and clarity to Aurora's music that seems to emanate from within. Please react to live performances of her own songs. As an example, "Churchyard" and "All is Soft Inside" from her KEXP performance in Iceland. Or "Infections of a Different Kind" and "The Seed" from her 2019 HAIK concert performed in a forest. She also gave an amazing concert at the Nidaros Cathedral: songs like "It Happened Quiet," "Through the Eyes of a Child," "Little Boy in the Grass," "Lucky" and others.

Thnx, yet again for a smashing good reaction, Ken. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this version of God is a WO-man ;) AURORA is truly unique and 100% herself. at age 6, she found the piano in the attic, and she thought it looked lonely (her sister had stopped her piano lessons) and AURORA started playing with it, and continued playing WITH the piano afterwards. Add to the equation her ability to embody the song, eminate it in a trancelike state, she does the most interesting performances. She's normally not aware of what she does whilst performing, you will notice it more and more as you continue reacting to her music. This version, was created in 1 hr. The radio program they attended here, has this thing, where you, as an artist, showcase a couple of your own songs, and then the host has chosen a song for you to perform a cover of, and you get 1 hr to prepare. ;) Happy Holidays from Arctic Lo-Ve Islands

To really understand aurora you have to look at her childhood, picture the lakes and forests of Norway as her playground and you can see how nature(Mother Earth) is so important to her and then add in the fact that as a child growing up her family never had a TV or radio, only an record player where she listened to Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohan both great wordsmiths in the art of music,it's then you can start to understand what makes this girl become the amazing artist she is today, and to think at the age of 6 she found an old Brocken piano and taught herself to play without being able to read music is astonishing,to then at the age of 9 write a song called Lucky which you must listen to its a masterpiece and by the age of 16 have enough songs for her first album.(all my demons greeting as a friend )WOW! She is so special, for me she is a GENIUS .As a lover of music all of my life, like most of you we all have at times enjoyed certain artists, the reasons for this can be many fold, but I can honestly say that at this moment in my journey no one has touched my emotions or moved me like this young artist from Norway and there is a reason for her to have a huge fan base all over the world. She is such a great songwriter, singer and performer - for me there is a unique quality to her voice and the way she expresses her feelings in every word she sings is a quality that not many singers have She is not mainstream as she has created her own genre, and therefore she is not topping any charts. But that is not what aurora is about she has never craved for that she is a child of the earth and so grounded in what she believes in .So for me a musical journey with Aurora is a journey with meaningful lyrics and comforting vocals that makes you ask yourself questions and think more deeply about the kind of world we want to live in,for someone so young to write and produce songs plus produce all her own videos is outstanding.yes Aurora is a Genius

haha yeah Aurora always moves her hands and stuff when performing :) it's like she uses her whole body to sing. if she's standing up her legs move too! it's a whole body experience for her I'm guessing

when you find out they have an hour to do their arrangements for a song and play it, you get how good they are... BTW Ken, your knowledge and the way you approach the rest of us: AWESOME. props

At the end it really is like she realizes that she's not alone, she gets so easily and naturally into the flow state in her music. It happens a lot too, in many of her live videos, not just this one.

Before she sang she danced, actually trained. Movement is integral to her performance style.

Love that you're basically complimenting her for being authentically weird! (As opposed to other musicians whose weirdness seems inauthentic.) 😄♥️

Great Reaction! Ken: "Is that(moving her arms) what she normally does? Is that her thing?" and I'm just grinning from ear to ear nodding frantically :D

She performs with her hands.. I dont find it distracting. Tori Amos plays piano and uses her hands as well. I love this more than the original honestly lol I like Ariana but this version touches my soul xoxo Aurora is in her own world.
