It seems not many people know the fact that this operatic part 4:40 ~5:46 has never been performed live because when Queen recorded the song, the pitch was raised by recording engineer. If anyone watched the documentary of Queen, you would understand that Forestella singing this operetic part live is in fact incredible feat.

Thank you for your reaction! This is Forestella, a crossover group from Korea. They are the winner group in the Phantom Singer 2; an audition show to form a crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea. However, as they have their own unique style, they won't be Korean il Divo, they will be the Forestella of the world! Forestella has sung great covers like Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions, Hijo de la Luna, Heal the World, the Sound of Silence, My Favorite Things, Champions (mash-up of Champs league theme and Champions by Jo SuMi), Nella Fantasia, Scarborough Fair..etc etc. At the Phantom Singer All Stars they sang Time in a bottle, Je suis Malade as well. Shape of You in English, Spanish and African Zulu is fantastic indeed. You can even see them dancing singing Smooth Criminal as well! If you are a LOL fan, check their Warriors and Legends Never Die! And they broke the record of their own with EXO's MAMA winning 6 trophies for King of Kings in a row in Immortal Songs. Check their magnificent performances of Bad Romance and Lazenca Save us, Unwritten Legend and Despacito too. Forestella is a quartet of Ko WooRim (classical bass, intense abyss-deep low tone), Kang HyungHo (ex-research chemist, rock vocalist with soprano head voice falsetto), Cho MinGyu (classical leggiero tenor, light boyish crystal clear tone) and Bae DooHoon (musical actor, 159th King of the Masked Singers, emotion convincer good at R&B, Pop). Each has distinct tone and style of singing, different charm. But all of them are famous as practice-freaks. They meet almost everyday to practice together. In a radio program the leader (Cho MinGyu) revealed it would be around 20 days they didn't meet in the year. Bae DooHoon also said they don't meet 1~2 days in a month. I think this explains how their perfection can be possible. Don't miss their m/v for Save our lives! It's full of wonders. Each of them is representing an element in the m/v. They sang Fake Love of BTS and their song Save our lives at MAMA. Their new original song Utopia is a must check. Now I see they are creating a genre called Forestella. They showed "What crossover is" with Save our lives and showing "What Forestella does" with Utopia! Enjoy their diversity with their original song White Night too. Forestella released their new single KOOL in Kpop style to fulfill their promise of Kpop cover dance for exceeding 990K views of Save our lives m/v. They struggled to choose a Kpop to dance, became to think making their own Kpop song with dance! As crossover works for all genres, Forestella did a great job for their fans.

Forestella first sang their version of Bohemian Rhapsody in the KBS Immortal Songs which is a kind of remake competition music entertainment show. It made them known to the world, and later they put it in their 2nd album titled Mystique. They had concert tour under the title Mystique. This video was filmed at the Mystique encore concert, the last of the tour. I prefer their Immortal Songs video because we can see their acting in the performance there. Here it's too dark to see it well.. I recommend Forestella Queen's best songs compilation video on KBS Jeonju channel. There are 2 more Queen renditions in addition to the very first performed Bohemian Rhapsody by Forestella.

Forestella have been taking Korea by storm, they even had a brief tour in the USA this year (I saw them in Atlanta). They are simply amazing! Everything they touch turns to gold. I highly recommend “Nella Fantasia” (where you will hear Hyungho’s beautiful soprano), “Parla Piu Piano”, “Je suis malade”, and “Time in a bottle” (new take on old classic). There is a very very long list of gorgeous songs by Forestella, please react again! Put together through the Phantom Singer 2017 contest, they are composed of 2 opera singers, one musical actor/singer, and one rock singer turned soprano (I am not kidding..!). They are practice freaks and pride themselves to deliver a perfect result in any language they tackle, with also perfect pronunciation. I hope to hear you react more to this wonderful group, they deserve to be known worldwide!

They have so many covers and several originals. You have enough material for a long time with Forestella and they are simply phenomenal. Every song and cover is unique and executed with perfection ! They are a South Korean classical crossover group known for their versatility and harmonies, and the members from left to right are Ko Woorim (classically trained bass), Kang Hyungho (rocker, countertenor), Cho Mingyu (classically trained tenor), and Bae Doohoon (baritenor, musical actor). So glad you’ve finally got to Forestella. You’ve been sleeping on them for way to long. You’re in for a hell of a ride. Nearly every cover they do it is either the best cover or better than the original and their original work is magic. There is a lot for you to listen. Maybe something a little more classical as a contrast next such as Parla Piu Piano (Godfather theme) or Nella Fantasia (The Mission/ Sarah Brightman) but to be honest you could just pull up a list of vids and everyone will wow you. I knew I wasn't the only one waiting for this reaction, thank YOU very much for it. Ok SOOP BYEOL, here's my suggestion: I came across this channel ( kzbin.info/aero/PLd_XIBHucucfFFJ2mqBhpJcsAZpZGVMbp ) and I think they deserve more recognition since getting those clips and adding captions to them is a lot of effort. Briefly, in my opinion getting to know them chronologically is a pretty good idea ( at least the Phantom Singer 2 part ). Like this comment if you agree so Justin reads it.

It is so heartwarming to see Forestella receiving the attention they deserve in Western spheres. I remember doing exactly what Justin did at Kang Hyungho's top note - I jumped out of my seat, hand over mouth, and leant on the mantle above the fireplace place, I was so excited at stumbling across this group, their sound, on KZbin. Discovering them, and other classical South Korean artists in our winter of 2020 was the only good thing to come from the covid lockdowns in NZ.

I've seen their daily lives on a Korean TV show. They are always together except for a few days a year. So I could understand their amazing harmony. + And there's a funny video that you can watch on their channel. It's a video of them switching parts, and the painful high note of the bass player, Go Woo-rim, is so funny.
