Charice Pempengco is the best singer and representative of the Philippines and whole of Asia in the world of music industry. From an early age, she has performed in various shows in America, Europe and even in Asia such as the Ellen Degeneres show, Oprah Winfrey show, Paul O'Grady show, Dr. Phil show, Good Morning America, Asia's Got Talent, Star King Korea, Thailand TV (Alive Morning Weekend People), Singapore Idol, Italian TV, Japanese TV and other big shows abroad. No other Asian artist in history has done these at such a young age except only Charice, until now I still have not found a singer in the Philippines who can really beat Charice's tone, voice and power when it comes to performing live. Yes y'all right that there are many good vocalists in the Philippines and even other's vocal range is higher than her's but Charice's vocal quality is different. She delivers a song differenty compare to others, each word is super audible with flawless pronunciation. There really has a story about the way she performed on stage. She knew how to belt right with right control like the transition of her voice from chest to head tone with good resonance and extreme dynamics which is very nice to listen to and you will really be amazed at her. Even famous singers and vocal coaches around the world admire her talent, such as David Foster, Eric Vetro, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Céline Dion, Mariah Carey, Lionel Richie, Andrea Bocelli, Patti LaBelle and many more. Only a self-proclaimed fantard will say that others are better than Charice. When in fact? they do not know what they are saying haizt😔

The piano interlude is probably because the original by Eric Carmen had one. The melody line of the song was based on a string part in Rachmaninoff's 2nd Piano Concerto, and Carmen had to pay royalties to Rachmaninoff's heirs.

Charice made history back in the day , first of all she started at a very young age and i can tell you she really sounded more mature than she was actually since the beginning . Around 9 years old if i am not mistaken she already was competing within Philippines in talent shows but her real , let's depute came at around 12 when she visited Oprah's Winfrey show and there she surprised the audience and the host with her already huge voice for her tiny body. She told to Oprah that her dream was to sing next to Celine Dion and guess what ...Oprah called Celine and i think right after the show Celine and Charice met , Celine took her kinda under her wings and they sang a beautiful duet "because you love me" together ...that was pretty much the day Charice and David Foster met and he literally boost her career through the ceiling. I loved her voice , her diva quality and i was watching her nailing big song after big song for some time and then ...she just disappeared. To my surprise she returned back in the Philippines and then she changed drastically and ...that was it , Charice was no more the same. Anyway her fan club still treasures those few brilliant performances like this one and out of nowhere another couple of great voices from the Philippines emerged , Morissette Amon and Katrina Velarde .
