OH,PESE,PLEASE,PLESE DO MORE HUA HUA! He is a musical genius, even though he says he isn’t. He was on a weekly music show, where people would come and give him a song to do. The catch was, he had to re-compose it, and be ready to perform it the next night. It was a competition, and needless to say, he rarely lost. In fact, I can’t recall watching any episode where he lost. And he can throw in a fantastic rap! He is truly amazing.

Hua ChenYu is a "inner singer" as i like to call him. He speaks directly to the soul. His interpretation and facial expressions!! Only Hua ChenYu. Child is the song that introduced me to him and still my favorite song.

You are right on him living in the song. Most of his songs have many amazing layers of different emotions, with his amazing vocal and stage presence, makes his songs very addictive and you just cannot get enough of him. He is really good and very very impressive.

I really love your reaction and analysis to Hua Chenyu. Please do some more from him. Fake Monk is the most captivating and unique performance I have ever seen. It is so good. Real Art. Please watch a version with eng subs and the prestage interview if you react to it. Hua Chenyu back for Singer 2020! Great performances and the first two episodes he already won first place in both of the episodes. It’s even more impressive because he originally didn’t intend to come this year, but his company kind of forced him to go. He is very busy with a show called Ace against Ace 5 and his own concerts. Where he also sings and need preparing a lot. So going into Singer he came last minute (an hour before the show started) and didn’t sleep or eat before singing. He also had no time to rehearse while other singers had days to rehearse. In any way he brought great performances again as always. He told us he won’t do covers this year, he’ll be purely singing originals. Which for some people is great, but I liked his covers always full of suprises

Kudos to female backing singer.. Like a mum wrapping her arms around him. You're right. Very deep thinking goes into her song and how the Orchestra supports him. Maybe worth seeing something from his latest Concerts. I'd recommend his "Hua Chenyu 2023 Mars Concerts Official God Tree" (ENGLISH SUBS version). You will never have seen staging like it (his concept). Watch for false endings if you watch it. 👍

After listening to everything he has done, this is still my favorite of his. The last note, that flip, gives me goosebumps everytime. Loved your reaction. Another favorite is "Nanping Evening Bell" a duet with Juno Su. It is truly stunning, and I hope you give your input on it. Oh, and "Dad, I'm Home." He was given 24 hours to do his own version of this rap song, and it a song that will make you think...and think.

Love your appreciation for Hua's technical artistry. He is my favorite because of his artistic interpretations of songs and strong stage presence. I hope you continue to explore and react his performances. Hua has so many exceptional performances and not one song is the same style. You saw his angelic, mild but so etherial style of performance. As a commenter listed some suggested songs, you cannot go wrong with any. It's hard to pick a favorite. JJ is excellent. She has worked hard all her life and deserves and has earned her success! We can only stand in respect of her and people similar to her who can fulfill their dreams so fully. Applause to her. I saw her sing one other song from SINGER 2018 - My Heart Will Go On. With no disrespect, without any unkindness intended, I say again as I wrote in my comments on the first song, there is not much that is original or new here in this song or in MHWGO in terms of her vocal dynamics, her presentation, or in her emotional delivery. She has an excellent vocal instrument, but nothing unique; nothing unique in range, in texture, in color, in dynamics. Her vocal and emotional dynamics stay pretty much the same thru out these songs; or said another way, she stays in a very narrow range from top to bottom emotionally and vocally in terms of dynamics. I say this without unkindness, but there are a million other singers on Broadway and elsewhere who can deliver vocals and this song just as well or better.....JJ can be replaced by another singer of equal ability of which there are a great many. HUA however, and Dimash can not be replaced. There is NO ONE like HUA. He is a total ORIGINAL (yes he's had his influences, but he has made his own unique style and sound from those inspirations). HUA and DQ bring a whole new experience of vocal, emotional, and performance dynamics in terms of presentation, use of vocal sounds, genuine soul felt and soul deep raw expression, and a completely new and fresh, NEVER BEFORE way of singing their songs. When Dimash or HUA covers a song, it sounds like a BRAND NEW SONG....as if we have NEVER heard it before. And their covers are FAR BETTER THAN THE ORIGINALS!! JJ is very good, very deserving of her accomplishments, but there is nothing really new or ground breaking or artistically better in her covers or any other area of her singing and performance. She is doing what has ALREADY been done MANY TIMES before. Her emotional and vocal sound dynamics are redundant, PREDICTABLE, expected with ZERO SURPRISES. With DQ and HUA we are continually and wonderfully surprised by the unexpected!! She paints a landscape maybe just slightly different than it's been painted before. HUA paints in way that takes us to a WHOLE NEW DIMENSION OF SIGHT, SOUND, COLOR, TEXTURE AND SOUL DEEP FEELING!!!!! HUA LIVES THE EMOTION AND IS THE SONG ITSELF. JJ sings about the feeling, it's not the same. I guess a traditional singer is what wins. Wishing them all great success. but I am gratified to know that HUA won this in 2020.....HE IS SO DESERVING!!! '

Hello, I am new to your Reactions and your have found an amazing, complex singer who I think is one of the best. I love how you explained the lightness in the heaviness. Try to react to all of the 2018 The Singer performances he did, they are exceptional. He is a true Performance Artist. He also rearranges songs to his style. In 2019 he wrote 5 songs & you will be amazed that he is even better now!! There is a YT channel Hua Fans English Subs. They have from 2013 when he won Super Boy at 23 and all of his songs and other appearances. I hope to hear more of Hua by you. FYI: Hua had a lonely and a bit of a difficult childhood. When he found music he channels his feelings I to the music and did a lot of songs with sounds but not words.(like at the end of Child) So he was called an Alien and a Martian and his fans are Martians and his concerts are Mars (he welcomes his fans, Martians, as family and coming home) Try to watch his concerts. I watched from the beginning and early on the concerts were more laid back and as he progressed his concerts were more intense. He would do a different concert each night, as one is part of the next one. He played at the Birds Nest, 90,000 each night, and they sing with him, etc. He can control 90,000 people! Welcome to Mars! ❤️❤️🌸🌸

One of my favorite parts of any of his vocals is his vibrato. I love all his vocal "colors" but I think his vibrato is so distinct and sets him apart from most male singers. He uses that part of his voice very selectively in songs so when I hear it I know it's a choice he made.

Hua Chenyu is fantastic! Anothe singer who is absolutely awesome is Dimash Kudaibergen he also was on The Singer but the year before Hua Hua. Dimash was 22 at the time. He can sing in 6 octaves.
