Thank you for posting this Beth. Myles Kennedy is, in our opinion, the best singer in the world for the past 15 years. He has so much power and emotion in his voice and he's technically incredible. He is such a strong singer and musician. My wife and I watch a lot of vocal teacher reactions and you are by far our favorite. You see the technical aspect but also the emotional aspect and it's very refreshing and educational also. The comments you make about Myles preparing himself for the high notes by making those small vocal noises, are spot on. We've seen this video a million times and we never saw that perspective of it. You are incredibly insightful and knowledgeable and we enjoy your videos immensely. By the way, Myles made you cry at the end....well, he does that that to us all the time. I didn't know this band, but I accompanied a friend to a concert because the person he was going with cancelled last minute and I really didn't care for their other songs, plus it was in a very small place and my ears actually hurt from the loud music. But this song, oh this song made me tear up, and the fact that you could almost hear the people singing more than himself, made it even more special. I have it recorded and I love to watch it every now and then.

I just saw Alter Bridge live on April 1st and as usual they were amazing. In addition, it was the first time that my GF had ever seen Alter Bridge live so, I got to live through her eyes just a bit. In fact, when miles performed watch over you acoustically she could not help but tear up.

This right here is my all time favorite song! I try to cover it when I play, but I'm no Myles (lol). I always introduce it as "this is my favorite song by my favorite band."
