@@jiminsluvalarm1871 JK gets praised for his vocals generally, but not as much on OT7 performance videos. Ironically, because people think that he gets a lot of praise already (and some think he gets “too much”), they don’t bother to praise him anymore. If you look at a lot of recent videos, the comment sections are always full of praise for all the members EXCEPT Jungkook, even when he does amazing as usual. I’ve definitely noticed it.

Since these are older songs Jimin sang less in them back then (they were more hip hop based than the songs they do today) so it was more Jungkook back then, but today Jimin sings a lot more since his sweet sexy voice suits the pop sound perfectly. But even with the few lines he has in these songs he often sing the "killing parts" with his honey sweet vocals I always get chills 💗

I think, based on their videos i watched since 2013, jungkook has the natural singing voice that time, jimin and v were still on training with their vocals, Maybe that’s the reason why jungkook was given more lines during their early years. But now i can see that jimin and v were given more lines. And exposure. Just an observation. Same with jin. I can say that they all have different quality of voice. That’s why they are BTS.

I like what you said about Jimin, because sure it's impressive when someone hits a high note but to do it as effortlessly as Jimin while also managing to find a beautiful tone and not sound like you're shrieking is difficult for men and I'm pretty sure to sound as angelic as him you have to be born with it or have done crazy vocal training. That's why I love his voice though, it was instant love at first hearing back when I didn't know their names 😊

I will always stand by my belief that Jimin has one of the most unique voices in the music industry right now. He makes you stop, gasp and listen. Some of y’all may not know this but his voice is so much like MJs voice when he was in his early 20s. The way they both can use the falsetto and head voice and the blend they get. Listen to Human Nature and almost any song from the Off The Wall album and you will see the similarities. When Jimin really confidently mixes those voices in a song, it’s gonna be over for pop. I’m waiting on the day.

Jimin chimchim Same and your are right in the growl. I think people usually compare the dancing. But there were two things about MJ that Jimin shares. The way they use their voices and their ability to command a stage. People tend to forget that MJ could really sing well and had a voice that allowed him to sing in any genre. There’s just not that many people that can do that but Jimin can. We haven’t heard a voice like that in decades. The difference right now is the vocal confidence MJ had that Jimin at times lacks. And really that confidence is driven by experience and environment. MJ grew up in an R&B environment where perfect notes are secondary to how well you can move an audience. Jimin is in a environment where perfect means a perfect high note. So there is a difference. Once he learns to embrace his imperfections, all we’ll be able to do is hold on for the glorious ride.

Hahah Jungkook sings in that straight tone in other songs too. For example He sings straight in 'DOPE'. And tbh they sing more breathy cuz Koreans in general just love that kind of tone! Koreans LOVE husky, gritty voices or breathy voices. There is literally a term in Kpop for it! It's called "half air half noise" singing. Koreans LOOOOVE their ballads and 80% of their ballad singers will have a husky or breathy voice. They love it when singiners show emotion in their voice. You'll hear a lot of nasal tones as well. They really like that too. 'Hyorin' and 'IU' for example are 2 singers in Korea that are looooved by Koreans for their voice tones!

I believe Jungkook has the most versatile voice. He is able to sing any kind of genre because he knows how to manipulate his vocal chords so artistically. And depending on the type of song, his voice also changes from time to time in regards to the song he is singing. With the breathy type, to falsettos, even high-pitched voice (maybe you can listen to a live version of “Lights” during their Chiba 5th muster concert because you might haven’t heard yet singing that way. He rarely do that so I am also amazed that he was able to pull it of during live, just as good as the recorded one.) , him singing low voice, being tenor, he was able to manifest perfectly with his demo song “Decalcomania”, he sounded so amazing! I hope to listen to the full song of it. I hope he can drop it soon :) And also I almost forgot to mention how I love listening his “rock-style” voice. I don’t exactly know how is that called but the tone of voice he is using is like the same with rock singers. I don’t know if “distortion” is the right word for it. Anyways, he keeps on making me amaze everytime he sings, he just keeps on improving and he has way a lot of vocal techniques on sleeve that we haven’t probably heard yet. I’m looking forward for his future singing career because I really have high hopes on him. Jungkook is just a Phenomenal performer and an absolutely incredible singer.

Zahra Y I would love to see that too. Suga is my absolute bias and one of the most underrated enigmatic members of BTS. His songs from AgustD’s Mixtape have become tools in my survival kit and his rap voice gives me shivers. Tony Montana performance with Jimin is just crazy 😜 I must have watched it million times. I think Jungkook's parts in No More Dream weren't as stylised as they are now possibly due to the fact that it was one of their first few songs, and back then they were definitely more rap/hip hop. First of all, thanks for the longer video, sometimes it's so annoying when you split in short parts :( Second, you definitely have you check out the rappers vocals! Especially RM since you like his tone so much. I recommend you the song 4 o'clock with him and V. Also, his solo Seoul is great as well.

In a Nutshell Yeah I like his videos but most of the videos are him just pausing,, for example if you’re reacting to a 3 minute long video, I do not think you need 15-20 minutes to be reacting to it. I don’t mind knowing the techniques behind everything that is going on and your opinion on the song, but I find myself skipping most of the talking parts. It’s just too much (not trying to hate or anything, I really appreciate his videos but I personally would like him to pause less)

Ok you really need to analyse their speaking voices to their singing and rapping voices. Also trust me Jimins speaking voice is angelic and you gonna fall in love with him completely. In their early songs, Jimin and Jungkook dominated the vocals. V and Jin had very few parts and V has many growling parts so it's great that we can see in their recent music, the line distribution is more balanced.
