Nah, this is a favorite of mine for sure! Written by J-Hope, and co-composed by J-Hope, Jungkook and Jin, although J-Hope said Jungkook pretty much "directed" this song. There is an interview of these 3 discussing this song. It's so beautiful. I guess because there is no MV for this one, it doesn't have "views", but it really is a gorgeous song.

When I first started going through their discovery in 2020, this song caught me off guard, I recognised JK and Jins voice doing the vocals and ofcourse Jhope with the rap but at one point Jhope also sings/harmonises aswell but I didn't realise it was him at the time and I had to listen back so many times cuz I thought I was hearing things... then I came their online concert clip of this song and best believe I thought damn, that was hobi the whole time harmonizing but in that deeper tone?! We need more vocal hobi because I find his tone of singing so calming P.s, the song and the meaning behind it will always hold a strong meaning for me too so this underrated song will always be one of my top 5 of their songs for sure!

jamais vu. im literally in love with this song but it's one of the MOST underrated bts songs to exist. EVER. and it was actually my favourite song from persona. no one talks about this song and it deserves so much more. this was so beautiful. at first listen, you can hear the way they sing, there's some kind of desperation, a desperation wishing that life could be reloaded. there are so many things which we have done or perhaps things we havent done enough, but unlike a game, life and time doesnt wait for anyone. there's this underlying scary thing when u realise oh... so my actions cannot be undone. and jamais vu which means "never seen" can account for things you have done so many times yet they feel so unfamiliar. when u play the game again and again and each time everything is erased from the previous game. the 'pain' from the game is erased. but life doesnt work that way. your pain cannot be erased and when you keep doing a thing again and again it starts feeling weird and that's jamais vu. but every time you do it you can feel the pain. if that makes sense. sorry for the ramble. I just think this song deserves more.

jamais vu is one of my favorite bts songs. actually, it's one of my fave songs ever. it's so beautiful melodically, the song arrangement is masterful and creative, jin, jungkook, and j-hope's voices and different singing techniques combined, the lyrics... ahh it's just so beautiful. especially when jin hits the "save me" part... i even saw classical musicians adoring and giving this song such high praises. so yeah, you're not alone in the fascination, justin but it's truly underrated. 💜

No, you're not the crazy one. Those who don't appreciate this song are the crazy ones. They don't know which are the real good songs, with very good vocals and rap combined together, plus a very meaningful message. This is a beautiful song which Jhope co-wrote with RM, Bang PD and others. And I believe that the most viewed ones do not necessarily mean the real beautiful songs and the very good vocals. Also sad to say that sub-unit songs, though very beautiful, do not get much views due to people's biases...if you know what I mean.

I'm not sure if you listened to this from the Proof album, but the reason the views are not that high is that, since Proof is an anthology album, they took songs from past albums and put it in the Proof album. So Jamais Vu, was actually released back in the 2019 Map of the Soul: Persona Album.

Love that song too. The red arrow in the intro screen is pointing at V. Only Jin J-Hope and Jungkook is singing in this one. Their entire B side is worth checking out. I personally think with the exception of Spring Day (their best song IMO) most of their B sides are better for vocals than their title tracks. House of Cards, Zero O clock, For Youth (especially live), Blue and Grey, Your Eyes Tell, Magic Shop, 2!3! and the Truth Untold.

Jamais Vu is such a beautiful song. It's the opposite of deja vu and means "never there." Everyone in BTS wanted to be a part of this beautiful song and the only three who got too we're Jin, J-Hope, and Jungkook.
