I think I can easily tell when Jimin or V are singing. They both have some of the most unique tones in Kpop and it’s interesting hearing their contrasting tones. Jin has an interesting (very classical) style of singing and Jungkook has a voice that is very versatile and blends easily with anyone’s voice.

You really are one of the only vocal coaches on here that actually tells and acknowledges that they sing live. So many others constantly pretend to not be able to hear how live it is and all throw in their doubts like, even for me a not trained vocal whatever can tell when it's live and when it's not.

Not sure... for me, RM has the most cerebral rap lyrics I've ever read. He raps in metaphor! He has the cleverest plays on words. Language, for him, is a playground where he can communicate with his fans in fun, interesting and often instructive ways. Suga, on the other hand is just... raw. He spits fire. He taps into reservoirs of anger and emotion that are almost molten in their intensity. Listening to Suga is like going ten rounds with Mike Tyson. He'll rip your ear off. Not that RM's rap is emotionless... far from it; he's very well connected with his emotions. It's just that RM always leads with the message and let's you feel his emotion as a byproduct of same.

Funny how right after he said he’s surprised that there wasn’t more harmonies, then boom, @ 6:48 Suga and Jungkook harmonize on that first verse and he didn’t comment -_-. Couldn’t see what he saw cuz the video was frozen but maybe the camera only focused on Suga in that part so Justin thought that those were back up vocals? I’m guessing. But that was Jungkook song while Suga rapped! I love that part.

This is my favorite BTS performance, if you pay attention to their expressions you can tell how suprised they are in the beginning by how loud ARMY is singing, and from then on out they are soooooo happy. Thats why they are so relaxed and just happy 💜 so proud and thankful for the army that were there for them that day

What i love about BTS is each of them is really different. Their rapline has different taste Suga has this swag that can burn you down RM is burning you in a calmest way and Jhope really just flows with it. The vocaline is much intense, each of them has different voice and techniques but blended nicely. JK is a real life DVD player, and Jimin he has this voice that can really calm you, V is this kind of vocalist that you can really feel the emotion and Jin he has this voice that fits every genre his voice is really no joke. Each performance they just dont give us the same they’re trying other techniques that interest us, they keep improving everytime they perform

this performance was done at a music show so they don’t add in any extra harmonies that are different from the studio version. if you want to see harmonies for songs it’s better to watch their live performances from concerts/musters because there they are free to experiment with the dynamics of the song.

Maybe it's just being an army, but each of them are unique and i can distinguish them really well. V has the deep, and dark coloring as u said. Jimin has the female range (not bad in any way; he's my bias): the sweet but powerful when high and deep when necessary. The way he ends his line is also very interesting; with that reverse sigh. JK has the combination of both Jimin (during high) and V (during low: check out 'Arirang', he has a really low voice in it). Jin has the nasally voice which i usually hate but in his case is both angelic and powerful. J-Hope has a nasally rap voice that creeps into his singing voice sometimes too. Even though i hate that tone in general i love it when he does it. Suga has a very good rap voice, deep when he has to be and squeaky in parts where he uses power (where he has to diss people😉). He also breathes in a lot, especially during his 's' sounds. RM has the best voice for rap delivery. The deep powerful voice that can make anyone listen (president Namjoon). And even though all have different styles and voices, the fact that they can blend so well makes me fall in love with them all over again. They are just amazing.
