Да если слов не знать, то как-то скучно и нудно)) А я сама эту песню пела много раз, с удовольствием на 2 голоса. "Под ракитою" - там же мурашка на мурашке... Но убери смысл и что останется? Про гибель сотнями людей и лошадей, но все равно "Любо!". Нет, пусть хоть мелодиями и вокалом наслаждаются, чем пытаются в смысл вникать - не поймут, только переиначат, нас неправильно представят, нашу ментальность и душу. В народных песнях сплошь иносказание: деревья, цветы, реченьки, ветер, облака... А что за этим стоит, поймут ли? Лучше не обольщаться. Пусть лучшее чувствуют через музыку.

I could try and translate it if you want, it's a very beautiful lyrics in my opinion, but they use very archaic portuguese in this song so maybe some parts won't make sense in english.
