In the words of Katharine Steele, Christy Altomare is the human embodiment of sunshine. She is one of the best storytellers on Broadway, every performance of her is dripping with passion and emotion it always gives me chills. She is one of the sweetest people alive. Anastasia has to be my favorite musical and I'm so glad you did this!

Fun Fact: when originally recording the song, Liz Callaway (Anya's singing voice in the movie) didn't know how long the last note was supposed to be, so she just kept going. That's why it's such a long held note. 😍

This song ALWAYS makes me cry. I saw Anastasia twice on broadway and Christy was absolutely phenomenal and you could TELL how much love, passion and hard work she put into her role. She’s the nicest and sweetest 🥺 Even watching this, despite the added comments and replays and pauses, I STILL cried at this song 😹😹 it’s my weakness! It’s just so beautiful!!!

Christy Altomare is one of my favorite performers. She brought so much passion to Anastasia. I loved the movie so much as a child and she really brought it to life and made me love it even more. I’m so glad I saw it on Broadway and that I was lucky enough to meet her. Great video!

As someone who knows absolutely nothing about the mechanics and technique required in singing, I love watching videos like this so much and learning how much thought and precision goes into a performance! Broadway singers like Christy just make it look so effortless, and it is so cool to hear about choices she makes and how different placement and voice works. I think it is so fascinating! Thanks for making these! :)
