Fun Fact: when originally recording the song, Liz Callaway (Anya's singing voice in the movie) didn't know how long the last note was supposed to be, so she just kept going. That's why it's such a long held note. 😍

This song ALWAYS makes me cry. I saw Anastasia twice on broadway and Christy was absolutely phenomenal and you could TELL how much love, passion and hard work she put into her role. As someone who knows absolutely nothing about the mechanics and technique required in singing, I love watching videos like this so much and learning how much thought and precision goes into a performance!
