I think it's really interesting how nearly everyone "pushes" out the highest note physically somehow. Like some people send it to the gods with their hands, others puff it out with their chests, and some bear down on it by pushing their necks in, almost like a turtle head retracting lmao. I love the body language of singing!

you're so right about the arts in schools. It develops both left and right brain. My almost 10 yr old granddaughter, will watch you and try to understand and copy you. we switched her school, and she now has music once a week, and she joined chorus. I also bought her a keyboard, so she could" learn her notes," play one and match her pitch, " Like that cute guy Tristan says to do." LOL. In other news, she has a bit of a crush on Jimin, ( as do many) and I asked her who else was so cute. She contends;" Jimin is the first but Tristan the vocal coach guy is next." I love what you said about the funding for arts program in general being very low because at the high school I go to the school program wanted to use a lot of money on the athletics program. Don't get me wrong, I think athletics and keeping a stable healthy lifestyle is important to learn too. But for our choir program we cannot afford proper dresses and folders for our select ensemble group. We have also had five choir teachers in the last 4 years that did not stay. Needless to say, it is so refreshing to hear someone talk about funding for the arts program that does not get enough appreciation. (In my opnion) loved your reaction :)
