This album is very deep and was not crafted for the general public-- at one of her concerts, she said that songwriting has always been how she got through life, and this album was one she *needed* to make, and once you listen to it, it does become obvious she was going through a very difficult time. So TTPD is definitely not glitzy and glam-y like Midnights was. TTPD is very raw and vulnerable and quite frankly brings out a side of her that we haven't really seen before It's not very production heavy, it's definitely more lyric-based. I've seen someone describe the album more like a musical audiobook, which I'd agree with. As a swiftie, I personally love the album, it has so much depth to it, but I would not recommend the album for very casual listeners or someone who is into top 40 pop. If you're into folklore & evermore, you're more likely to like the album, especially the back half of the album

The album definitely grows on you. It's hard to digest all of it at once when there's 31 mellow songs but it's actually really good. my boyfriend who doesn't understand any of her lore and doesn't dive into lyrics LOVED the album and had it on repeat for like a week all of his own volition he just heard some of the songs when i was playing it in the car and then proceeded to have it on repeat. he said he actually feels like the album is really short despite it being 31 songs which i think speaks to how good it is

Well i am a 16yr taylor fan. I just say this album is on repeat since it was released. Her bedt album for me. Goose pumps from head to toe every day. Thank you taylor for being vulnerable, relatable, emotionally broken, happy in your relationship and having the hability of storytelling like no other. As a fan thank you for this ERA. i love this album this album all the 31 songs are about her life especially the last 2 years and soo vulnarable like i really love it and yeah I agree you need to hear it more than once to not stop listening for months! but that said some first bops are there like the first 5 songs for me straight bop! then some more but now except peter, and 2-3 more i listen on repeat.
